California Police Make A Gruesome Discovery In Home Freezer

In a property in the Riverside, California, area, police discovered an 87-year-old woman's body in a freezer early on Sunday morning, according to CBS Los Angeles.

According to CBS Los Angeles, the body was discovered at 9:35 a.m. after authorities received a phone call from out-of-state family members who were concerned about the woman because she had not been in touch with them in a lengthy period of time. According to CBS Los Angeles, when officers entered the house to check on the woman's welfare, they discovered her body in a freezer in the garage, where she had died.

The identity of the woman has not yet been revealed. According to CBS Los Angeles, she shared the house with her 64-year-old daughter. The cause of the woman's death is still unknown, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
