American Voters Rejoice! New Bill Protects Election Integrity

On Thursday, Republican Texas Rep. Pat Fallon is introducing legislation that seeks to amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 and ensure that only American citizens are able to vote in U.S. elections.

The Voice of The Electorate (VOTE) Act would specifically insert a new section into the law entitled “Prohibiting Registration of Individuals Not Providing Proof of United States Citizenship” and make it so that no state can register an individual to vote in a federal election unless they provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship.
