HEMI Engines CANCELED But Not Before A Final Blowout

Dodge’s V8-powered muscle cars are nearing the end of production. The current Challenger and Charger will be phased out in December 2023 and replaced by a new electric vehicle platform, according to the automaker.

Dodge is celebrating both models with a slew of special editions and options, as well as the addition of a commemorative “Last Call” badge to the hood of every 2023 vehicle.

Six new versions of the pair will be released in the coming weeks, with a seventh debuting in November at the SEMA auto show in Las Vegas.

There are no details on any of them yet, but Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis stated that the seventh will make history, implying that it will replace the 808 hp Dodge Challenger SRT Demon as the most powerful internal combustion engine muscle car ever made.

Dodge is also adding the standard 717 hp Hellcat engine to its highly customizable Jailbreak ordering option, which debuted last year with the 807 hp supercharged V8-powered Challenger and Charger Hellcat Redeye models. Customers can use the Jailbreak to mix and match paint colors, trim, and appearance packages in nearly any combination they can think of.

Pricing and other details will be released in the coming weeks, and the six-cylinder Challenger and Charger models will be phased out.

The first electric Dodge muscle car is set to be released for the 2024 model year.

A Son’s Horrid Confession Will Give You Chills

A man was arrested Sunday after driving his vehicle into a crowd in Pennsylvania and confessing to murdering his mother the day before.

Adrian Oswaldo Sura Reyes, 24, was charged with two counts of criminal homicide after confessing to driving a vehicle into a crowd at a community fundraiser in Columbia County, killing 50-year-old Rebecca Reese and injuring 17 others.

Shortly after arriving, police received another call about a male suspect assaulting a female. Upon arrival at that location, officers found the suspect’s mother, 56-year-old Rosa Reyes, dead.

Reyes had gotten into a heated argument with his mother before driving into the crowd. After leaving her home, he drove past the crowd, but turned around and drove directly into the gathering.

When Reyes drove home, he became enraged when he saw his mother standing outside and ran into her with his car. He then got out of the car, retrieved a hammer, and hit her in the head four or five times, killing her.

Reyes waved to reporters as he was transported by law enforcement and said “hi,” as seen in a video shared on Twitter. He was denied bail and is being held at the Columbia County Correctional Facility.

Doctor’s Prison Suicide Is Giving Epstein Vibes

Two weeks after being found guilty of sexual misconduct against six patients, neurologist Ricardo Cruciani was found dead at Rikers Island on Monday morning. His death was first ruled a suicide.

The New York Times stated that Cruciani, a doctor who specialized in treating chronic pain, was discovered wearing a sheet around his neck in the jail’s shower area. Medical professionals arrived, but about an hour later, he was declared dead.

A jury found Cruciani, who was 68, guilty after deliberating for three days. In addition to two counts of rape, seven counts of criminal sexual acts, and one count each of predatory sexual assault, attempted rape, and sex abuse, the jury found him guilty on all 12 counts. On two additional counts, he was found not guilty.

Cruciani, according to a representative who spoke to the Times, was detained in the Eric M. Taylor Center’s understaffed general population dormitory portion.

Cruciani entered the shower area at 4:23 in the morning, and an officer discovered him unresponsive at 5:35, according to another official who spoke to the publication. The official was unsure if officers had visited the area Monday morning even though they are expected to do so every 30 minutes.

Cruciani was charged with grooming people by giving excessive amounts of medications and then requesting sexual favors. He “didn’t finish writing my prescriptions until I did something for him,” according to one woman.

Cruciani had refuted the accusations of sexual assault, and after the verdict, his lawyer, Fred Sosinsky, announced that he intended to appeal the ruling.

Federal charges against Cruciani were still pending as a result of claims that he mistreated patients for 15 years in his offices in New York City, Philadelphia, and Hopewell, New Jersey.

Florida Woman Arrested For Assault With Steak

A Florida woman is accused of assaulting her spouse at their home on Sunday night after allegedly chucking a raw steak at him.

Police reports say Rochelle Wright, 42, and the male victim were “involved in a verbal argument and were intoxicated” when the extremely rare meat took flight. Wright and the man, cops report, have been a couple for 20 years and have a child together.

According to a criminal complaint the victim was seated in a chair inside the family’s home in Tarpon Springs when Wright became angry with him. Wright, investigators allege, “subsequently picked up the steak and threw it at the victim.”

Unfortunately, she missed instead hitting the victim’s chair and an adjacent wall. Wright reportedly admitted throwing the meat when questioned by police, stating she was “tired of his behavior and their arguing.”

Wright, who is pictured above, was taken into custody on suspicion of domestic abuse and lodged in the county jail. Yesterday afternoon, she was freed from custody on her own recognizance.

The complaint mentions that authorities did not seize the steak, which was considered a “weapon.”

Woman Repeatedly Calls Police And They Are Sick Of It

Police said a Florida woman made more than 11,000 harassing phone calls to the police emergency communications center this year.

Carla Jefferson, 50, was arrested Monday night on a misdemeanor charge of making a barrage of phone calls to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and the St. Petersburg Police Department.

According to a criminal complaint, Jefferson made 512 calls to the police department’s emergency communications center in a single 24-hour period last month.

Investigators say Jefferson “harasses, belittles, swears at, argues with” police employees who answer her calls. “The content of these phone calls are vulgar, threatening, or obscene” and “contain extreme expletives, sexual innuendo, and belittling remarks to the communications staff,” according to reports.

On some occasions, Jefferson has requested that officers come to her St. Petersburg residence and arrest her. When the cops arrived, Jefferson “retreats inside, refuses to answer the door, and has in the past given officers the middle finger and screams at them through the windows,” Officer Christopher Bishop stated.

Earlier this year, police officers issued Jefferson a certified letter warning her that continuing to misuse the non-emergency number will result in criminal penalties. Their goal was to convince her to stop calling.

Jefferson, who called the police on two different occasions, is said to have disregarded the warning, which led to her detention in late June on two misdemeanor counts (she was freed from custody after posting a $400 bond). Jefferson was taken into custody on Monday for reportedly keeping up the harassing over the phone even after her June 30 collar. Jefferson, who is pictured above, was released from the county jail yesterday afternoon on her own recognizance.

Blood Spilled On The Ice During Hockey Game Brawl

A Canadian league hockey player straight-up kicked an opponent in the face with his skate during a mid-game fracas… in an incident so reckless, that police are now investigating.

The hair-raising scene unfolded during an Adult Safe Hockey League game on July 29th at Scotia Barn in Burnaby.

You can see in the video, that two players from opposing teams were brawling when, out of nowhere, one guy appeared to purposefully kick the other with the blade of his skate.

The player immediately fell onto the ice covering his face. The kicker was issued a penalty and ejected from the game.

The Burnaby Royal Canadian Mounted Police say the victim received medical treatment for his injuries, adding that they’ve launched an investigation.

“Burnaby RCMP is continuing to investigate the circumstances and actions that led to the player’s injuries,” officials said.

“Burnaby RCMP is in possession of a video showing one angle of the incident, which has been collected as evidence. Investigators are still in the process of speaking with players and witnesses.”

The ASHL, said in a statement, “The conduct and on-ice behaviour depicted in the video in no way aligns with the values of our league and the rules of the game,” adding that the player had been indefinitely suspended.

“While we acknowledge that the total prevention of incidents like this is not possible, we will continue to ensure that such incidents are treated with appropriate supplemental discipline, including the potential for a player to be permanently expelled from the league.”

Girl’s Horrific Tale Of Survival Will Send Shivers Down Your Spine

The two bodies that were found in the same home where a 12-year-old girl was held captive have been identified.

Sandra Vazquez Ceja-29 and a 14-year-old boy identified by his initials were “cut into small pieces at the joints to hide evidence.”

Ceja was smothered with a pillow, while the boy was hit and kicked to death.

According to the sheriff, they finished processing the crime scene on Wednesday night and are awaiting forensic results. The 12-year-old is in state custody, “being protected” and “doing real well.”

Suspect, Jose Paulino Pascual-Reyes, had his first court appearance Wednesday. He had been denied bond and given a court-appointed attorney.

A 12-year-old Alabama girl is being hailed a “hero” after escaping her capture, prompting an investigation that led to one arrest and the horrifying discovery of two decomposed bodies.

A motorist called authorities after coming across the girl walking down a Dadeville road. The girl had been tied to bed posts and kept in a drugged state with alcohol, before chewing through her restraints — and escaping. She had been hit in the “head area,” according to the criminal complaint.

Jose Paulino Pascual-Reyes, 37, was arrested Monday and two decomposing bodies were found “sandwiched in the flood in bags,” inside the mobile home where he lived. Other people were also living in the residence when the police arrived.

Pascual-Reyes was arrested on suspicion of first-degree kidnapping and also faces three counts of capital murder and two counts of abuse of corpses. “I feel certain that several more charges will follow,” added Tallapoosa County District Attorney Jeremy Duerr.

“She is a hero,” Tallapoosa County Sheriff Jimmy Abbett said of the victim. “We gave her medical attention. She is safe now and so we want to keep her that way. That’s all I can actually say. She’s doing well.”

“It’s horrendous to have a crime scene of this nature and also a 12-year-old juvenile to deal with it, it’s a horrendous situation,” he added.

Per Abbett, the girl was “not considered a missing person” and wouldn’t reveal whether authorities had located her family members. He also didn’t provide any details on whether she had any relationship with Pascual-Reyes or the deceased. “We are not at the stage to release the relationship. We do not want to infringe on what is going on behind the scenes,” he said.

Investigators believe the girl was kidnapped around July 24.

New Movie TRASHED After Execs Find It Too Awful To Save

A $90 million Batman spinoff was shelved Tuesday after being considered “irredeemable” by executives.

WarnerBros Discovery said they decided to cancel the release of “Batgirl” on HBO Max because the movie “simply did not work.’ The movie was developed before WarnerBros merged with Discovery, and the new brass was not on board with the attempted expansion of the “Batman” storyline.

They said “Batgirl” was so bad that it would damage the brand’s future.

Even with the option of reshoots and an increased budget, “Batgirl” is dead, a potential blow to up-and-coming lead Leslie Grace, who portrayed the title character. The film tested so poorly that it was considered “irredeemable.”

The new owners and management of WarnerBros Discovery say they are still committed to building the DC Films titles into huge theatrical events.

MMA Fighter Ro Malabanan Pins Serial Street Puncher

Mixed martial artist Ro Malabanan pinned a homeless man who was attacking random people in the middle of Manhattan’s Soho district.

The incident unfolded as Malabanan walked out of a subway station near Broadway and saw two men walking toward him, when a third man, “sucker punched” one of the men in the side of the face, the MMA fighter explained.

Malabanan said he checked on the victim and told him to call the police. Only moments later, two other people pulled up and said the suspect had been punching people as he walked down Broadway. One of those individuals suggested they try to stop the assailant.

“Alright, I’m down,” Malabanan responded. He ran after the reported assailant, who was already a block away, and his “jiu-jitsu instinct just kicked in,” he said. Malabanan is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a yellow belt.

“I jumped on his back. He tried to swing me off then, but for those of you that don’t know, a seat belt position dragged him down to the floor and I immediately took his back and pinned him on the ground,” Malabanan continued. “All of this happened in less than a minute.”

The fighter checked the suspect’s pockets to make sure he wasn’t carrying any weapons, he said. While he pinned the suspect, several other people approached claiming they’d also been punched by the man.

“That’s bullsh*t bro, you still don’t punch people in the f*cking face for no reason,” Malabanan can be heard in another video responding to the suspect’s claims that someone had been “walking into [him].”

Six people reported they were victims of the individual.

Malabanan said that he’s often been harassed in New York City over his Asian heritage. While his professional fighting career was put on pause due to concussions, he is a martial arts and boxing instructor and a hopeful actor.
