Was This a Credible Threat Against POTUS? Secret Service Thinks So

A North Carolina man is facing federal charges after threatening violence against President Joe Biden. Twenty-seven-year-old Kyle Reeves of Gastonia appeared before a federal judge in Charlotte after his arrest last week on charges of making threats against the President of the United States.

According to prosecutors, Reeves contacted the White House switchboard “multiple times” and proceeded to make “threats against President Biden and others.”

The calls are reported to have been made between January 28 and February 1, as stated in the federal affidavit. Allegedly Reeves repeated the threats in several different phone calls to a Secret Service agent who contacted him to discuss the threats, as well as during phone conversations with the Capitol Police switchboard.

In the affidavit is says Reeves told a Secret Service special agent, “I’m going to come kill the president, I’m going to kill the Secret Service because I own this whole planet.”

The federal judge presiding over Reeves’s hearing decided it best to hold him in custody. If convicted of the charges Reeves faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

He is currently being held at Mecklenburg County Jail.

Biden’s Incredibly Rude Statement Confirms What Everyone Has Always Suspected

On Monday, Twitter users, including a Republican national spokeswoman and congressional candidate, chastised President Joe Biden for using the term “boy” and fumbling during his introduction of a black senior adviser.

Biden briefed reporters Monday on the government’s rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Ida’s devastation in Louisiana. According to The Hill, the president met online with FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell, Democratic Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards, and Republican Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves.

Biden began the briefing by introducing White House senior adviser Cedric Richmond as a “boy who knows Louisiana and New Orleans extremely well.”

His usage of the phrase, which is seen as pejorative toward African-Americans, drew backlash online. Republican National Committee spokesperson Paris Dennard, who is black, noted that Richmond is “a 47-year-old man.”

“Joe Biden just continues to insult Black men openly and in public because he doesn’t care,” Dennard wrote.

Biden stated in a May 2020 podcast that African Americans who are still deciding whether to vote for him or then-President Donald Trump “ain’t black.”

“Poor children are just as bright and talented as white children,” Biden stated in August 2019 during a campaign event in Iowa.

Biden was asked about former President Barack Obama’s campaign during a 2007 interview with a New York Observer journalist. “I mean, you’ve got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate, bright, clean, and a handsome gentleman. That, my friend, is a storybook,” the president said of his yet-to-be-named running mate.

A Tragic Accident At Hotdog Eating Contest Leaves Girl Dead

A Tufts University lacrosse player, 20, has died after fatally collapsing during a weekend hot dog eating contest.

Madelyn “Madie” Nicpon, a junior member of the Jumbos’ lax team, was competing in an off-campus competitive eating event on Saturday when things went tragically wrong.

According to The Journal News, officials stated that Nicpon passed out after choking and was transported to the hospital by first responders. Nicpon died later that day on Sunday.

“In light of this heartbreaking tragedy,” school administrators stated in a statement, “our thoughts and prayers are with Madie’s family and friends.”

Thousands of people descended on campus immediately after Nicpon’s death Sunday evening, encircling her jersey with candles and paying tribute to her affectionately.

“We are beyond heartbroken to share the news of the passing of junior Madie Nicpon — ‘Scooter,’” the Tufts lax team wrote on Instagram. “Scooter was a true friend and teammate. She truly valued her relationships with her teammates and coaches.”

“Her reach was far beyond our team — she was a true connector on campus and touched every single person she met.”

They added, “We love you, Scooter. Keep dancing from above.”

Nicpon had played in several games in her first two years for the Jumbos and was expected to be a key contributor this season.

This Rumor Could Explain Why Putin Is So Angry All The Time

Rumors are circulating that Russian President Vladimir Putin might be suffering from “roid-rage.” Former U.K. Foreign Secretary Lord David Owen made an accusation against the Russian leader during an interview Monday, claiming he could be using anabolic steroids which can cause erratic and angry behavior.

Owen claimed that Putin’s bloated face, along with his public behavior, is evidence of the possible use of performance-enhancing drugs.

“Look at his face, see how that has changed – he now has an oval face,” Owen said. “People who said, ‘oh, it’s plastic surgery or Botox,’ I don’t believe that at all. He’s on either anabolic steroids as a bodybuilder – and he’s very proud of his muscles and strips to the waist and everything like that – or he’s on corticosteroids. If you’re on these drugs, this gives you this face.”

Putin is notorious for flaunting his athletic achievements, from producing workout videos to often going shirtless in public to taking part in high-profile hockey games. Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, he was stripped of his title as honorary President of the International Judo Federation, a sport associated with doping.

Owen isn’t the only high-profile figure to suggest steroid use. A risk analyst and public intellectual Nassim Taleb tweeted that Putin’s puffy face and irritability might be signs of steroid use, not botox, as others have said. City Journal editor Theodore Dalrymple wrote Monday that Putin might be taking steroids based on his puffy face.

“These drugs are noted for their numerous side effects, not the least being psychological changes such as paranoia and elevation and depression of mood,” he wrote. Then there was the question, of course, as to why Putin would be taking them. Cancer, perhaps—a lymphoma? If Putin were taking steroids, his extreme and seemingly bizarre anxiety about contracting Covid-19 would be explained. Both the underlying condition of cancer itself and the drugs would have made him vulnerable to such anxiety.”

Putin explained his Ukraine invasion by saying he wants to “de-Nazify” the country with a Jewish president and that Ukraine has always been rightfully a part of Russia. Some of his more bizarre behavior, such as sitting dozens of feet away from advisors during meetings or slamming key military leaders during public addresses, have been more difficult for experts to understand.

  • Rubio Explains Why President Biden Might Seem Like A Different Person

Rubio Explains Why President Biden Might Seem Like A Different Person

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, compared the differences between then-candidate and now-President Joe Biden, telling the National Conservatism Conference on Monday that the reason for the difference is because had he shown his true self – he would not have been elected.

“I think it’s telling that the agenda promoted by the candidate Joe Biden is very different from the one that’s being pushed by President Joe Biden,” Rubio said in a live stream video conference in Orlando, Florida.

“Candidate Joe Biden, for example, promised a return of competency and professionalism; President Joe Biden delivered chaos: Historic calamity on the southern border, humiliating and deadly debacle in Afghanistan, stranded cargo ships off the coast of California, and the skyrocketing prices of literally everything.”

Rubio was scheduled to attend the conference in person but was unable to due to the ongoing American Airlines flight cancellations.

He began by stating that Biden is governing contradictory to the way he campaigned because he knew from the get-go that his ideas were unpopular with the majority of ordinary Americans in comparison to those managing society day today.

“The problem is they have power beyond the numbers,” Rubio said. “They happen to be the people who run our schools and our universities, our tech companies, our large corporations, meetings, boards, the entertainment industry; they are the most generous donors and enthusiastic activists in one of our two major political parties.”

By pointing out this specific class of “managers” as distinct from the general population, Rubio drew on the work and writings of many of the conference attendees and other conservatives.

“I am here to tell you big business is not our ally in the fight against socialism,” he said. “Yes, they come running for help to conservatives when the Left threatens to raise their taxes; they come running for help when workers decide they want to unionize. But on most days, they’re either cultural warriors or rocking boats in the language of free-market capitalism.”

The senator finished by noting specific policy positions to address these economic woes – such as requiring companies to disclose to investors about their employee training policies and to the public about how they are building up American capital.

Rubio emphasized that America is entering a time when it could be irreversibly transformed without adjusting for the new generation.

  • Condoleezza Rice Calls Out Biden For Believing He Knows Whats Best For Black People

Condoleezza Rice Calls Out Biden For Believing He Knows Whats Best For Black People

The left has a bad habit of thinking they know what is best for everyone. They assume that people should think a certain way because of their economic position, social class, or race.

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice called out Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden for thinking that black people should act and think a certain way just because they’re black by saying, “if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

Rice said, “I don’t really care if we’re colorblind, but I would like to get to the place that when you see somebody who is black, you don’t have preconceived notions of what they’re capable of, who they are – by the way, what they think, which is a big problem of the left. You look at somebody who’s black and you think you know what they think, or you at least think you know what they ought to think.”

Rice believes that the country is still trying to repair the long-term damage of the “birth defect” of slavery in the United States and systemic racism is still a problem.

“I am not one who believes you can just sort of ‘take on systemic racism,’ I don’t even know how to start. I do think you can take on the impact of the educational system for minority kids that leaves most of them behind. I think you can take that on. But people might not like my answer. My answer is: Let’s do school choice in a big way,” said Rice.

President Donald Trump and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos are vocal advocates for school choice which is a system in which the government gives education tax dollars back to families so they have alternatives to the poor educational options in their neighborhood. Whether it be public, private, charter, or homeschooling, parents can pick what best fit their child’s need.

Quality education is the first step in changing our future. Like Churchill said, “Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.”

Marine Who Went Viral Now Facing Charges But Receives A Heartwarming Surprise

Over the weekend, The Pipe Hitter Foundation (PHF) reached the $2 million mark for Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller who’s facing possible charges simply because he demanded accountability for the debacle in Afghanistan.

“The Pipe Hitter Foundation is incredibly proud to assist Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller, a Marine who had the courage to demand accountability from his leadership in the wake of a disastrous exit from Afghanistan that led to the death of 13 of his fellow service members,” the donor box description reads.

Scheller posted a video on social media in August demanding accountability for the disastrous military withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“I have been fighting for 17 years, and I am willing to throw it all away to say to my senior leaders ‘I demand accountability,’” Scheller said.

Scheller submitted a formal request for resignation in late August.

“We the people submit our resignation with a requested date of 11 September 2021,” he wrote. “Reason: Loss of trust and confidence.”

After Scheller’s video went viral, he was ordered not to post anything on social media, then was relieved of duty and thrown in the brig.

“That day, Stu risked everything to stand up for what he believed, Lt Col Scheller stated in his first video that he was willing to lose his job, his retirement, and his family’s stability to stand for accountability. And he did lose all three of those things,” wrote the PHF.

PHF is raising money for emergency relief, relocation, loss of military benefits and retirement, legal expenses, and family support for Scheller.

World’s Unluckiest Man Gets A Shock When Nature Calls

A Dutchman was on vacation in South Africa when he was bitten on his genitals by a venomous snake while he was sitting on a toilet.

The 47-year-old man was vacationing on a nature reserve when a snouted cobra slithered up the toilet while he was using it and bit him in his genital area. According to a report released by Science Direct, this was the first such case ever reported.

The man waited 3 hours for help to arrive before he was transported to the nearest medical facility by helicopter.

He complained of burning in his genitals and excruciating pain that spread from his groin to his upper chest as well as vomiting. His penis and scrotum were very swollen and deep purple when he arrived at the hospital. He was diagnosed with scrotal necrosis and required several doses of snake venom antiserum and antibiotics. He also required hemodialysis due to acute kidney injury.

Tissue was harvested to replace the tissue destroyed by the venom, several surgical procedures were required but after a long year, the man eventually made a full recovery.

Worldwide deaths caused by snake bites range from 81,000 to 138,000 a year, however, it is believed to be higher because cases in some rural areas are less likely to be recorded.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened… in fact…
