Oregon State Now REQUIRES Covid-19 Vaccine To Attend College Football Events

There are many unanswered uncertainties still only a week before college football begins, and with the NFL season wrapping up soon, fans’ impatience is at an all-time high.

Many colleges have already started planning vaccination procedures for fans and mandatory immunizations and COVID-19 testing for players, and are doing so to allow them to perform on the field by 2021.

Some bad news for Oregon fans as now the colleges have issued a new mandate that all attendees for college activities must be vaccinated or a negative test to attend.

On Friday, the University of Oregon and Oregon State University, the first two Power-5 universities to implement mandatory vaccination protocols for football fans, declared that they will start the 2021 season by implementing either proof of vaccination or a negative test for communicable diseases.

“Effective Monday, August 23, attendees 12 and older at designated University of Oregon events and activities—including select concerts, conferences, and all Oregon Athletics events—will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within the past three days to obtain entry,” reads a statement on the UO website.

“University events and activities requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test will be designated by the university in consultation with the local public health authority.”

The Hawaiian state has suffered a spike in COVID cases and declared that it will be barring spectators from attending Hawaii’s home opener on September 4th, as it was postponed.

“We are disappointed because we were looking forward to playing in front of our fans again,” Hawaii athletic director David Matlin said. “However we understand the decision was made in the best interest of public safety and can only hope the restrictions will be lifted when the time is right.”

Another Denver Shooting Leaves One Dead And One Still On The Run

A fatal shooting occurred in downtown Denver, Colorado, resulting in the death of one man and five other persons being injured.

The incident happened near a nightclub and music hall in downtown Denver, and bars were closing at the time. Though their status was not revealed, two people who were seriously injured were rushed to the hospital.

According to authorities, one man died as a result of his injuries, three others sustained minor injuries, and two more sustained non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Denver has experienced an upward trend of active shootings since the beginning of August.

According to a report published in the Westword, fourteen people were shot in eight separate occurrences in downtown Denver between August 6 and August 8. Following the Colorado Rockies’ baseball game on August 6, a concession worker was fatally shot and another man died after being injured in a shooting incident.

The incident took place last Friday, Fox News said, and two suspects were detained and charged with first-degree murder and first-degree assault. One of the suspects allegedly got into a dispute with the individual who was fatally shot, with the other suspect on contract to work in concessions at the stadium.

The four males detained in connection with the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old student outside a Denver school on Tuesday were reportedly from different Denver neighborhoods, the Denver Post reported. A fifth suspect who is believed to be related to the group’s alleged crime spree is still at large.

  • Are Biden’s Frequent Blunders All An Act Or Is His Mind Really Too Far Gone?

Are Biden’s Frequent Blunders All An Act Or Is His Mind Really Too Far Gone?

In a recent interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos, President Joe Biden’s incoherence gives cause for concern.

President Biden did not immediately return to the White House from his vacation when the crisis in Afghanistan began. When he did return, he made no public appearances for several days.

On August 11, Biden read a brief speech at the White House from a teleprompter, answering no questions after. He then returned to Camp David. A few days later, while still at Camp David the president gave another brief speech concerning covid vaccine boosters. Once again he read his speech from a teleprompter, again and answered no questions after.

While the president can perform his duties from anywhere including Camp David and his own home, it is highly unusual considering the current situation in Afghanistan.

According to White House public records, the president has had only two conversations with foreign leaders since August 1st, one with Boris Johnson and the other with Angel Merkel.

The president did have an on-camera interview with ABC George NEWS’ George Stephanopoulos although his answers did not inspire confidence in him. The president appeared somewhat angry when answering some of the questions.

Biden started the interview claiming that his intelligence committee had given him unclear and unreasonably optimistic information concerning the state of the Afghan military and government.

Right off the bat, there is no way to reconcile Biden’s comments during the interview with his July 8 declaration that the intelligence community had not stated that the Afghan government would likely collapse:

During the interview, the president insisted that he himself had actually predicted the collapse of the Afghan government by the end of the year.

Either Biden does not recall what he said on July 8, or he is trying to make everyone believe that he did warn of the Afghan government falling.

Former CIA counterterrorism chief and former member of Biden’s counterterrorism working group, Douglas London, wrote that the president is lying: “Ultimately, it was assessed, Afghan forces might capitulate within days under the circumstances we witnessed, in projections highlighted to Trump officials and future Biden officials alike.”

Biden not only avoided questions during the interview, but his answers made little sense:

Stephanopoulos stated during the interview, “We’ve all seen the pictures. We’ve seen those hundreds of people packed in a C-17. We’ve seen Afghans falling.”

“That was four days ago, five days ago!” Biden interjected when it in fact had been only 2 days ago. What is particularly odd is that Biden reacted as if Stephanopoulos was referring to irrelevant ancient history.

Why was Biden so upset about him asking about the horrifying images?

Maybe more unsettling was the president’s insistence that nothing could have been done differently, and the nightmare could not have been prevented.

“So you don’t think this could have been handled–this exit could have been handled better in any way, no mistakes?” Stephanopoulos inquired of Biden.

“No, I don’t think it could have been handled in a way that, we’re gonna go back in hindsight and look–but the idea that somehow, there’s a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing, I don’t know how that happens. I don’t know how that happened,” Biden answered.

On July 8 Biden assured the whole country that a Taliban takeover was not inevitable, yet now he insists that it was inevitable.

Biden also stated in July, “I trust the capacity of the Afghan military, who is better trained, better equipped, and more re—–more competent in terms of conducting war” and ” the likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely.”

During the interview with Stephanopoulos, Biden maintained that contrary to published reports, his military advisers had not recommended keeping 2,500 troops in Afghanistan.

The Wall Street Journal and other publications reported, “The president’s top generals, including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Army Gen. Mark Milley, urged Mr. Biden to keep a force of about 2,500 troops, the sized he inherited while seeking a peace agreement between warring Afghan factions, to help maintain stability. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said a full withdrawal wouldn’t provide any insurance against instability.” These statements could be declassified for verification.

What’s actually true? The president was warned. The president was not warned. The president cannot recall being warned.

Biden rarely appears on camera or takes questions, could it be because when he does he causes himself more damage? All available evidence points to the president ignoring the warnings of his foreign-policy team and withdrawing armed forces before evacuating civilians. He gave up the Bagram Air Base and is now in a major foreign crisis that was largely the result of his own choices.

  • Biden Administration Planning On Launching Airstrikes To Destroy U.S. Military Equipment

Biden Administration Planning On Launching Airstrikes To Destroy U.S. Military Equipment

President Joe Biden is reportedly considering launching military strikes to destroy some of the larger pieces of equipment abandoned in Afghanistan after the Biden administration opted to leave the country.

“The Biden administration is considering launching airstrikes against the larger equipment,” Axios reported. “They also fear that such a move could provoke the Taliban at a time where the U.S. is focusing on evacuating people from Afghanistan.”

Experts are now concerned that all that equipment abandoned could lead to a new Islamic arms bazaar, which could be used by terrorist groups like al-Qaeda.

    Politico reported:

In the chaos of the moment, however, it’s unclear to U.S. officials how much equipment the Taliban has seized and how much sits unattended on bases and small combat outposts across the country. That uncertainty over the status of a massive arsenal is sparking fears of a regional arms bazaar that could be a boon to terrorist groups and insurgents. …

The images that have spread across the world over the past week of Taliban fighters posing in front of captured helicopters and light attack aircraft have allowed the group to further humiliate the former Afghan and American governments. But these images don’t concern longtime extremism watchers as much as the proliferation of guns, bullets and grenades.

The findings state that the equipment confiscated will have limited usage since those who seized it do not have access to the tools and spare components necessary to keep it in good working order.

“I have full confidence that some of this equipment is going to end up in the hands of al Qaeda and other bad actors, it’s inevitable,” said Colin Clarke, director of policy and research at The Soufan Group. “This is not going to just end with the Taliban.”

    CNN reported:

between 2013 and 2016, the US gave Afghan forces more than 600,000 light weapons, such as M16 and M4 rifles and nearly 80,000 vehicles, as well as night vision goggles, radios and more, according to a 2017 Government Accountability Office report. Even more recently, the US Defense Department supplied the Afghan military with 7,000 machine guns, 4,700 Humvees and more than 20,000 grenades between 2017 and 2019, a report from the special inspector general for Afghanistan reconstruction found. (The GAO and the special inspector general removed these reports at the request of the State Department to protect any Afghans identified within.)

In the last two years alone, the US has also given the Afghan military more than 18 million rounds of 7.62mm and .50-caliber ammunition, according to a tally of the special inspector general’s quarterly reports.

“When it comes to U.S.-provided equipment that is still in Afghanistan and may not be in the hands of ANSF [Afghan National Security Force], there are several options that we have at our disposal to try to deal with that problem set,” Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said this week. “We don’t, obviously, want to see our equipment in the hands of those who would act against our interest or the interest of the Afghan people, and increase violence and insecurity inside Afghanistan.”

River Dave Gets Unexpected Gift From Tech Billionaire After Mysterious Fire Takes His Home

River Dave, a recluse who lives in New Hampshire, received a $180,000 check from a tech tycoon after a blaze engulfed his home after being accused of squatting, according to local news outlets

The Associated Press reported that New Hampshire resident David Lidstone had been living in a small cabin he built on his family’s land near the Merrimack River for 27 years. He was imprisoned on July 17.

Lidstone was ordered released from prison on August 4th if one of the following occurred: The cabin was demolished, he agreed to leave the land, or 30 days have passed since his first arrest, according to the Associated Press. The same day he appeared in court, a fire broke out and burned down Lidstone’s cabin. The source of the fire is unknown.

David Lidstone received a $180,000 cheque from Palantir Technologies CEO and millionaire Alexander Karp on August 11 for the reconstruction of his cabin, the Concord Monitor reported.

“How can I express myself and my gratitude towards something like that? I start to tear up whenever I think about it,” Lidstone told the Monitor. “For an old logger who always had to work, for anyone to give you that type of money, it’s incredibly difficult for me to get my head around.”

Lidstone was taken into custody in New Hampshire on July 15 and was charged with trespassing after being illegally living in a riverfront cottage for the past 27 years, the Associated Press said.

A close friend of Lidstone, Jodie Gedeon, posted a message on Facebook announcing the donation, saying that the old cabin will be River Dave’s temporary home until the new one is completed, according to the Monitor.

Karp co-founded Palantir Technologies in 2003, a technology company that develops data mining technologies used by governments and corporations. Estimated net worth: Forbes pegs Karp’s net worth at $2.2 billion.

“I truly believe it’s in Mr. Karp’s nature to do this,” Gedeon said. “He is a sincere person [who] cares about others. He has humanity; he does the right thing.”

Australian Government Arrests Hundreds For Protesting Against This Looming Threat

On Saturday, about 250 individuals were arrested as a result of protests in response to renewed COVID-19 lockdown orders amid escalating numbers of COVID-19 cases. Seven police officers were injured in the melee that ensued during anti-lockdown protests in Melbourne and Sydney, according to Reuters.

“Mounted police used pepper spray in Melbourne to break up crowds of more than 4,000 surging toward police lines, while smaller groups of protesters were prevented from congregating in Sydney by a large contingent of riot police,” Reuters reported.

Police said that in Melbourne, there were 218 arrests, 236 fines, and three arrests for police brutality. More than 260 fines were issued in the city of Sydney, and 47 people were charged with violating public health directives or resisting arrest.

A $5,000 punishment for breaking the extended stay-at-home orders was issued to residents of Sydney and its state of New South Wales after last Saturday, according to Reuters.

    Watch The Protest Here:

“We are in a very serious situation here in New South Wales,” state Health Minister Brad Hazzard said. “There is no time now to be selfish, it’s time to think of the broader community and your families.”

Recently, a priest who spoke at a Sydney freedom demonstration last month stated to Rebel News why he opposes the government’s continued lockdowns. Explaining how his generation was called to battle communism in Vietnam, he cautioned that Australians today face an even bigger threat to their liberty from within.

“My dad was very much in favor of conscription [for the Vietnam War]. He explained to me that it is important that we stand up because this country was founded in democratic principles that enshrined certain freedoms,” he said.

“And we don’t want to live in a country where they can tell you you can’t go to church on Sunday. We don’t want to live in a country where they have electronic surveillance on you, where they can tell you when you come in and when you go out, whether you can go to work; who you can associate with, you know, whether you’re able to embrace people. I mean, God, it wasn’t even that extreme, I don’t think, but, you know, the so-called communist menace at the time was going to deprive us of all these rights,” the priest continued.

“They strip us of our humanity, they break down community, and they destroy the country we fought for, the country we love, the values we cherish. We need to stand up and fight not violently, but we need to be ready to have violence done to us, I suspect, by police and others. We’ve got to be ready to count the cost, as our mothers and our fathers did when they fought to give us these freedoms. It’s time for us now to stand up and fight to preserve them,” he added.

Hackers Attempt Biggest Crypto Heist In History, What Happens Next Is Incredible

Initial reports say that hackers stole almost $600 million in cryptocurrency in one of the greatest heists in history.

“The hackers targeted PolyNetwork, a decentralized finance platform that enables people to swap tokens across different blockchains,” the New York Post reported. “The theft affects tens of thousands of people, PolyNetwork said in a letter that was posted on Twitter and addressed to the anonymous hackers.”

The team at PolyNetwork issued a letter and a statement to urge the hackers to return the stolen crypto.

“Dear Hacker,” the letter said. “We are the poly network team. We want to establish communication with you and urge you to return the hacked assets.”

“The amount of money you hacked is the biggest one in the defi history,” the letter said, referring to decentralized finance. “Law enforcement in any country will regard this as a major economic crime and you will be pursued. It is very unwise for you to do any further transactions. The money you stole are from tens of thousands of crypto community members, hence the people. You should talk to us to work out a solution.”

According to a recent article published by the Washington Post, researchers from blockchain security startup SlowMist revealed a total of $610 million worth of cryptocurrency was taken.

“After the initial hack, the crooks allegedly sent their crypto haul to various digital wallet addresses in an effort to cover their trail. SlowMist said they have ‘grasped the attacker’s mailbox, IP, and device fingerprints … and is tracking possible identity clues related to the Poly Network attacker,’” said the Post.

This so far includes many cyber currencies that have been able to halt the stolen riches. An example of this is Tether, which issues a digital currency known as a stablecoin, which has said that it has frozen $33 million USD in value of their stablecoin, as stated by their chief technology officer.

Meanwhile, Changpeng Zhao, CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, said his company is “coordinating with all our security partners to proactively help.”

But he appeared to not make any lead ways when he said, “there are no guarantees.”

  • The Truth About How The Taliban Treats Women Is Extremely Horrific

The Truth About How The Taliban Treats Women Is Extremely Horrific

An Afghan woman who was brutally tortured by the Taliban, said Monday that the Islamist militant group feeds women’s bodies to animals, treating women as “flesh to be battered.”

“It’s tough for the world to imagine what we built in the past 20 years, We built dreams. Now they are gone. It’s all over for us. Women who work with the government or police were being hunted and threatened even before the Taliban had taken over the country,” Khater told India’s News 18. “Now, the concern has gone beyond letting women work. At this point, I am scared if they would leave these women alive. They don’t just kill women. They make animals feed on their bodies. They are a blot on Islam.”

“They (Taliban) first torture us and then discard our bodies to show as a specimen of punishment. Sometimes our bodies are fed to dogs. I was lucky I survived it,” she said. “One has to live in Afghanistan under the Taliban to even imagine what hell has befallen on women, children and minorities here.”

“In the eyes of the Taliban, women are not living, breathing human beings, but merely some meat and flesh to be battered.”

As she returned home from work, Three Taliban insurgent fighters shot 33-year-old Khatera eight times in the upper body. Afterward, they gouged her eyes out with a knife, in October 2020, according to India’s News 18. Khatera was former police personnel and was two months pregnant at the time of her attack.

Khatera’s father, a former Taliban fighter, was involved in planning the attack after he’d learned that his daughter was working, according to the outlet.

After the Taliban breached Kabul on Sunday, the force promised to employ women for governmental roles, however, it also intended to ban women from receiving an education past 12-years of age and from being employed, the outlet reported.

Under the previous Taliban rule, women were not allowed to leave their homes without a male escort. They were required to cover their faces with a burqa or face punishment. Women were not allowed education or employment, nor were they allowed to watch television or listen to music.

Since being attacked, Khatera lives in Delhi with her husband and toddler. She continues to undergo treatment for her serious injuries, India 18 reported. Khatera said that women are killed by the Taliban for disobeying rules and are denied basic medical care.

“The Taliban don’t allow women to visit male doctors, and at the same time, don’t let women study and work,” she added. “So, then what is left for a woman? Left to die? Even if you think we are just reproductive machines, there is not common sense but pure hate. How does a woman deliver her child according to the dictum of these men with guns without medical care?”

  • Biden’s Lies Come Full Circle Now He’ll Pass The Blame Anywhere He Can

Biden’s Lies Come Full Circle Now He’ll Pass The Blame Anywhere He Can

According to several recent reports, U.S. military officers recommended to the president that he keep a large force of troops in Afghanistan. However, President Joe Biden claims that his military commanders never told him to maintain that number of troops in the country.

But we’ve found that Biden’s claims are nothing but a lie.

Clash, which means violent confrontation, comes to Afghanistan as the Taliban rule seizes control of the country in a matter of weeks, leading Afghan inhabitants to be concerned for their lives and hundreds of American citizens imprisoned in Kabul awaiting evacuation.

Biden repeatedly refuted reports that he ignored suggestions from high-ranking military officials to keep some level of military presence in the country during an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Wednesday.

The interview went something like this.

STEPHANOPOULOS: But your top military advisers warned against withdrawing on this timeline. They wanted you to keep about 2,500 troops.

BIDEN: No, they didn’t. It was split. Tha — that wasn’t true. That wasn’t true.

STEPHANOPOULOS: They didn’t tell you that they wanted troops to stay?

BIDEN: No. Not at — not in terms of whether we were going to get out in a timeframe all troops. They didn’t argue against that.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So no one told — your military advisers did not tell you, “No, we should just keep 2,500 troops. It’s been a stable situation for the last several years. We can do that. We can continue to do that”?

BIDEN: No. No one said that to me that I can recall.

Biden has defended his predicted evacuation following the Taliban takeover by arguing that “chaos” was unavoidable.

Both parties have been critical of the Obama administration about the ongoing crisis in Afghanistan, which is rapidly escalating.

Republicans scrutinizing the way Biden has handled the departure of U.S. troops from Afghanistan was to be expected. A considerable amount of dissent from politicians in the president’s own party has also developed in the wake of the issue.

This week, Democrats came out to oppose the evacuation of troops, characterizing the situation as a “disaster” and a “catastrophe.”

  • New GOP Legislation Says States Requiring Vaccine Passports Must Now Also Do This

New GOP Legislation Says States Requiring Vaccine Passports Must Now Also Do This

On Thursday Republican lawmakers introduced the Vaccine Passport and Voter ID Harmonization Act, legislation requiring states that mandate vaccine passports to also mandate voter ID requirements.

The bill was introduced by Kevin Cramer of North Dakota in the Senate and Nancy Mace of South Carolina in the House, “requiring states and local jurisdictions that institute vaccine passports to require voter identification in federal elections.”

Cramer said in a statement, “It makes no sense for Democrats to adamantly oppose common-sense Voter ID policies which protect the integrity of our elections,”

“If they’re comfortable making people show their private medical records to simply go to a restaurant, they should be fine having people prove they are who they say they are before they vote,” he continued, “Our legislation shines a light on their hypocrisy.”

The legislation comes in answer to more U.S officials and institutions requiring vaccines and vaccine passports.

On Wednesday Democratic California Gov Gavin Newsom along with the California Department of Health announced that California educators must present a vaccine record card to teach in a classroom.

In a statement, Mace said, “Showing an ID is something we must do in everyday life. We need an ID when we get a job, cash our paychecks, rent an apartment, buy a car, buy alcohol, or even cold medicine. States who mandate vaccine passports should be just as rigorous when it comes to something as important as protecting the right to vote.”

At least 20 states have banned vaccine passport requirements, through either legislation or executive actions. In May, Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill that bans such requirements and allows the governor to “invalidate a local emergency order if it unnecessarily restricts individual rights or liberties.”

“In Florida, your personal choice regarding vaccinations will be protected and no business or government entity will be able to deny you services based on your decision,” DeSantis said.
