This Is What Democrats Plan To Do Should The Impeachment Fail

The Democrats just can’t let President Trump go and are already preparing for “Plan B” should the Senate vote to acquit him.

It is already expected that Democrats will not get enough votes in the Senate to convict former President Trump and they have already devised a plan to continue their ridiculous quest to go after Trump.

House and Senate Democrats have begun drafting a resolution to use a section of the 14th Amendment that would censure former President Trump and prevent him from holding office.

Democrats like Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz are hellbent on going after Trump and was the first Democrat to suggest using the 14th Amendment.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida first raised the idea of a dual-track process that would reserve a second constitutional pathway. Kaine then began exploring the idea on the Senate side.

Their attention has focused on Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, a rarely cited Civil War-era provision which allows Congress to bar individuals from holding office if they have “engaged in insurrection.” A resolution to censure Trump would require a simple majority vote to pass in the House and Senate.

Constitutional scholars including Michael Gerhardt, Lawrence Tribe, Bruce Ackerman and Erwin Chemerinsky have advised lawmakers on the plan.

Ackerman, a professor of constitutional law and political science at Yale University, told McClatchy that President Joe Biden would not be required to sign the resolution — but that nothing would stop him from voluntarily endorsing the effort, “vindicating the Constitution’s continuing importance.”

“The decisive precedent was established by Congress in 1869 when it implemented Section 3 through a Joint Resolution to disqualify all Confederate officials from service,” Ackerman said.

Ackerman believes that the conservative justices Trump appointed to the Supreme Court would read the statue as intended however, there’s just one problem…they still have to proved President Trump caused the insurrection.

Court documents have continued to show that unrest was planned by bad actors well before the rally and that things started to get out of control at the Capitol before the people who attended President Trump’s speech in person arrived.

However, we should all enjoy every second of watching the Democrats obsess over Trump. The longer this goes on the more pathetic they look and the less time they have to pass legislation that could hurt the country.

Democrats are in total control right now, which means whatever happens is all their fault.

Let’s be honest, impeachment is a distraction. The Democrats went back on their promise for $2,000 COVIDD checks, they can’t get teachers unions to budge to reopen schools, the Gamestop rebellion exposed that they are in bed with Wall Street, and the Biden Administration has tripped getting the vaccine to the states. They need impeachment because things are already starting to pile up, they are already looking unfit to lead and we are not even a month into the Biden Administration.

Washington is a circus right now and the Democrats are ringleaders.
