The first night of the Democratic National Convention didn’t exactly leave people begging for more. In fact, according to Sean Hannity, it was Sen. Bernie Sanders that was the “only person who actually gave any substance at all.”

“Those who did tune in for the convention got a predictable dose of poorly-produced, cult-like, psychotic rage [and] hysteria against all things Donald Trump,” said the host of The Sean Hannity Show. “I thought they were the uniters … all phony rhetoric.”

New York judge Loretta Preska shot down Ghislaine Maxwell’s latest attempt to delay unsealing revealing documents that may contain ‘critical new information’ that would impact her criminal sex trafficking case and her civil defamation case.

Maxwell’s legal team would not go into detail about what they discovered in the documents but would only say that it was subject to a court protective order.

These requests came just before her team made complaints about Maxwell’s conditions in the Brooklyn jail where she is being kept. She has recently been taken off of suicide watch but is still submitted to several searches a day and stays under constant supervision of the guards.

Her lawyers demand the searches and surveillance be put to a stop and requested Maxwell be taken out of solitary confinement and put into the general population with other prisoners. Her team argues that the only reason she is being subjected to the ‘onerous’ conditions is because of her relationship with former boyfriend Jeffery Epstein.

Maxwell claims to have ‘never been suicidal and was never diagnosed as exhibiting risk factors for suicide,’ but is still being forced to wear special clothing and woken up several times throughout the night.

Her lawyer Chris Everdell said, “Ms. Maxwell is being treated worse than other similarly situated pretrial detainees, which significantly impacts her ability to prepare a defense.” In a letter to the judge, Everdell wrote that Maxwell is forced to submit to body scans and is even monitored while calling her attorneys.

Her attornies have made several requests to the judge such as more computer time and Maxwell be given the names of the three anonymous women who came forward about being groomed and abused by Maxwell.

In a photo recently published by Globe, Bill Clinton is seen looking emancipated and said that the former president only weighs 137 pounds. Allegedly, this huge weight loss is due to a skin cancer diagnosis and he may not have long to live.

According to an unknown source, “He doesn’t have any skin color – he’s washed out. He’s going down – and he’s going down fast.” The source added that Clinton’s friends and family are very worried about him.

Dr. Gabe Mirkin surmised that Clinton could be suffering from basal cell cancer, which is the most common form of skin cancer, and if the diagnosis is accurate he could be at risk for the remainder of his life.

“Losing more than 100 pounds means his heart is compromised,” said the doctor, “and his risk for COVID-19 is significantly increased because his immunity is impaired. Not only that, but hidden cancers are also often preceded by rapid weight loss.”

However, an internist said that Clinton appeared to be improving after a recent procedure. He said, “The former president appears to be healing from recent cryosurgery, where he has had multiple concerning lesions treated on his face. That’s one of the most metastatic or fastest-spreading cancers of all time. It spreads like wildfire and can cause death within months.”

Even though these are professional opinions, neither one of these doctors directly treated Clinton nor are they involved in his healthcare.

Still, the former POTUS does seem to be having some kind of health issues and with his alleged involvement in the Jeffery Epstein case, the stress alone would be enough to make you sick.

However, Globe magazine is full of gossip and there could be a million reasons for Clinton’s weight loss and none of them could have anything to do with his health.

With all the rumors flying around about the Clinton’s and their involvement in a sex trafficking scandal, it is beyond me why Bill would show up to speak at the 2020 Democratic convention.

The former president spent a lot of time hanging out with alleged child sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein so it leads people to believe he took part in abusing young girls. There is also the unsealed court documents from Virginia Roberts deposition saying she saw Clinton on Epstein’s private island. Roberts recalls Epstein telling her the president owed him a favor when she asked what he was doing there.

A spokesperson for Clinton denies Bill having any knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities but that is very hard to believe given all the time the two spent together. Not to mention Clinton’s own history of sexual misconduct.

Tara Reade, who made headlines earlier this year by accusing Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden of sexual assaulting her in 1993, slammed Clinton for showing his face at the convention.

“It is unconscionable that Bill Clinton is a main speaker, and this is coming from someone who voted for him. This is coming from a multi-generational Democrat,” said Reade.

“I feel that hypocrisy, like sexual assault and sexual harassment, is an equal opportunity offender and it’s a nonpartisan issue,” she added. “So I think the hypocrisy of the Democratic party is on full display by their speaker line-up for the Democratic national convention.”

Juanita Broaddrick, who claims to have been raped by Clinton in 1978, was also appalled by the former president’s speaking slot.

“This leaves no doubt the Democrats are the party of rape apologists and enablers. There are no words to express my profound revulsion at their decision,” Broaddrick said.

Having Clinton speak is only drawing attention to the hypocrisy that Democrats should want to steer clear of.

A fake tip to the Federal Bureau of Investigation separated a husband and wife and nearly destroyed their lives.

Jack Buckby and Martina Markota began getting harassed online by the anti-fascist group Antifa when they publicly showed support of Donald Trump during the 2016 preliminaries. After Trump won the election, Antifa posted her address online and described her as a fascist. The group would then call her place of employment and describe Martina as a “Nazi” which caused her to lose her job she had held for years.

Jack was working abroad as a counter-extremism researcher and author when he started receiving suspicious visa denials because of allegations falsely identifying him as a terrorist. Despite having no criminal record he has yet to be allowed to enter the United States to be with his wife.

Buckby still gets harassed online.

The Antifa activist was contacted to comment on the case. She claims to have not named Buckby or his wife directly and added, “As far as Antifa is concerned, I’m a moderate Democrat who is against fascism and that’s all you’ll get out of me.”

Despite the nationwide movement to disband or defund police, Georgia Governor, Brian Kemp stood his ground and signed into law a measure that offers additional protections to police officers and first responders.

House Bill 838 makes terrorizing first responders a crime, this applies to anyone responsible in the death or serious injury of police officers, firefighters, or emergency medical technicians. Damage of $500 or more to property owned by police or first responders be punished to the fullest extent.

Crimes of this nature will now be punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000. This can be added to any other related sentences, which could lead to very long sentences for contravention such as vandalism directed toward an officer.

In a statement, Kemp said, “During my time as Governor, I have attended the funeral of far too many law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty. It’s absolutely heartbreaking, and we must act.”

The Governor called the legislation, “a step forward as we work to protect those who are risking their lives to protect us. While some vilify, target, and attack our men and women in uniform for personal or political gain, this legislation is a clear reminder that Georgia is a state that unapologetically backs the blue.”

This measure was added to a hate-crime bill that gained momentum after the deadly shooting of Ahmaud Arbery, a Black man who was killed in Glynn County in a racist attack back in February.

There are those who oppose this law and argue that police officers are already granted strong protections under the law.

One of those antagonists is Andrea Young, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia. She says, “HB 838 was hastily drafted as a direct swipe at Georgians participating in the Black Lives Matter protests who were asserting their constitutional rights.”

It is no surprise that the law was passed by a Republican with almost no Democratic support.

Attorney General William Barr and presidential adviser Ivanka Trump announced during an event at the White House that President Trump has donated more than $35 million in grants for victims of human trafficking.

Ivanka called human trafficking the ”gravest of human rights violations.” She called the event a “celebration” of the accomplishments the administration has made to confront trafficking, as well as an opportunity for victims to tell their personal stories of survival.

Barr thanked President Trump and his daughter Ivanka for working towards the abolition of human trafficking and the help they have provided to help survivors. He called human trafficking an “evil scourge” and his department will go to any lengths to “investigate, prosecute, and punish” those responsible for these crimes.

As the survivors stood to tell their stories Barr became emotional and had to cover his face with his hands.

The grants being donated will be distributed to 73 organizations to provide up to two years of housing and assistance for rent, utilities, and other related expenses for victims.

The Camillus House Inc. in Miami, Alternatives for Girls in Detroit, and the Jordan Community Resource Center in Shaker Heights, Ohio are just some of the organizations that will be receiving a portion of these grants.

This money will also be used to help find permanent housing for victims. Job assistance, occupational training, and counseling will also be provided to those who want it.

The coronavirus has made the need for safe and supportive housing for survivors more important than ever. Stay at home orders forced many of these victims to live with their traffickers for a longer period of time.

President Trump, along with special advisers he has appointed to the issue, will continue to elevate the fight against human trafficking.

From this previous Friday’s 5-4 vote from the Supreme court, they have sided with President Trump by granting him “permission” to use more than $6 billion diverted from military funds to build the wall on the border of Mexico.

House Democrats have attempted to block the construction by challenging the diversion due to the funding not being approved by Congress. Attorneys at the White House stated that the Constitution grants the ability to transfer military funds in emergencies.

“The fight continues,” stated Dror Ladin, staff attorney with the ACLU’s National Security Project as most of their arguments succeeded before lower judges in California and Texas.

“We’ll be back before the Supreme Court soon to put a stop to Trump’s xenophobic border wall once and for all,” Ladin added. “The administration has admitted that the wall can be taken down if we ultimately prevail, and we will hold them to their word and seek the removal of every mile of unlawful wall built.”

Justice Stephen Breyer wrote about the case, “The Court’s decision to let construction continue nevertheless, I fear, may operate in effect, as a final judgment.” By the time the case gains enough merits to reach the upper courts the portions of the wall in Arizona, New Mexico, and California will already be built.
