Dr. Fauci’s time may finally have come to an end. Congress has demanded answers from Fauci on why his section of the National Institutes of Health reportedly financed research that involved puppy abuse in the name of science.

According to a devastating report from The Hill, based on documents obtained via FOIA by a nonprofit called the White Coat Waste Project, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases partially funded experiments in Tunisia between late 2018 and early 2019, in which up to nearly 4 dozen young beagles were killed.

According to WCWP, these documents demonstrate that the NIAID, which is part of the NIH, spent anything between $375k and $1.68 million in grant money for drug research… which was supposedly conducted on 44 pups, despite the FDA’s condemnation of such activity.

Among the bizarre experiments reported to have been conducted include the placement of puppies’ heads in mesh containers and allowing sand flies to consume them alive. Additionally, some of the puppies were allegedly left out in the desert overnight for nine days straight, where they were consumed by infected flies.

The lab employees are accused of surgically silencing the dogs’ barking in order to allow them to work in peace. As a result of these heinous allegations, 24 House members have addressed a letter demanding responsibility.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R) spearheaded the effort, but it garnered backing from numerous Democratic colleagues, including Ted Lieu, Cindy Axne, Steve Cohen, Jimmy Gomez, Josh Gottheimer, Lucille Roybal-Allard, Mike Quigley, and Terri Sewell.

They want to know what the NIAID knew about the services they were paying for and how public monies could have been utilized in this manner.

Alec Baldwin stated that he is cooperating with authorities and communicating with the family of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who died Thursday in an apparent prop gun accident.

According to investigators, Baldwin shot and killed Hutchins and injured another crew member, director Joel Souza, on the set of the film “Rust,” which Baldwin is both starring in and directing. Baldwin reportedly shot the two crew members accidentally with the prop gun.

The Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office issued a statement following the shooting on Thursday. The event is being investigated by law police, and no charges have been filed. The statement read as follows:

Santa Fe County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Bonanza Creek Ranch movie set of the western “Rust,” October 21, 2021, when an 911 caller reported a shooting on the set.

The sheriff’s office confirms that two individuals were shot on the set of Rust. Halyna Hutchins, 42, director of photography and Joel Souza, 48, director, were shot when a prop firearm was discharged by Alec Baldwin, 68, producer and actor.

Ms. Hutchins was transported, via helicopter, to University of New Mexico Hospital where she was pronounced dead by medical personnel. Mr. Souza was transported by ambulance to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical center where he is undergoing treatment for his injuries.

This investigation remains open and active. No charges have been filed in regard to this incident. Witnesses continue to be interviewed by detectives.

Baldwin was questioned by local police officers in the aftermath of the event. Additionally, paparazzi spotted the actor in a parking lot, seeming distraught and leaning over.

This is truly a heartbreaking story.

The State Department’s inspector general is starting a series of investigations into the Biden administration’s last diplomatic moves in Afghanistan.

The focus of the investigations will be on the State Department’s Special Immigrant Visa program, Afghans processed for refugee admission into the U.S., resettlement of refugees and visa recipients, and the emergency evacuation of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, according to an Oct. 15 memo to Secretary of State Blinken.

Diana Shaw, the acting inspector general at State, told Congress that her office was launching “several oversight projects” in relation to the end of the U.S. military and diplomatic missions in Afghanistan.

“Given the elevated interest in this work by Congress and the unique circumstances requiring coordination across the Inspector General community, I wanted to notify our committees of jurisdiction of this important work,” Shaw wrote in the letter addressed to the foreign affairs and intelligence committees of both the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate.

Other inspectors general offices, including those at the Department of Defense and the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, are anticipated to launch probes into the withdrawal as well.

Critics have blamed President Biden for not budging on the arbitrary Aug. 31 deadline for the withdrawal of U.S. troops, even though it was not a reasonable goal for the military to be able to withdraw all troops and civilians by that time.

Biden had promised Americans that the Taliban would not storm the U.S. Embassy in Kabul like the North Vietnamese stormed the U.S. Embassy in Saigon in 1975, however, his assurances were proved wrong, as footage of Kabul was hauntingly familiar to Saigon.

Retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, a former acting national security advisor to President Trump, said that Biden owns the Afghanistan withdrawal disaster, adding that the Afghan power vacuum Biden left behind is “much worse” than the power vacuum in Iraq that led to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

A countless number of Americans and U.S. allies are still stranded in the country that was left under Taliban control. Retired military leaders have called for the mass resignation of Biden’s diplomatic and military leaders in the wake of the disaster.

New York City’s Board of Health passed a resolution Monday declaring racism a “public health crisis.”

“Today the NYC Board of Health passed a resolution declaring racism as a public health crisis. NYC’s resolution is one of the first in the nation to tie specific actions to its declaration,” the department tweeted.

The resolution requires the Health Department to make recommendations to the city’s Racial Justice Commission, a branch of government that maintains “racial inequity and discrimination are baked into our institutions and society.” The NYC Health Department will also provide “Data for Equity working group” and perform an “anti-racism” review of the city’s health code.

The department will report semi-annually on the progress of the “anti-racism” agenda. In a press release, New York City Health Commissioner Dr. Dave Chokshi said the coronavirus pandemic “magnified” the racial inequities in public health.

“To build a healthier New York City, we must confront racism as a public health crisis,” Chokshi said. “The COVID-19 pandemic magnified inequities, leading to suffering disproportionately borne by communities of color in our City and across our nation.”

The resolution came in response to the Health Department’s June 2020 declaration on the alleged racial injustice in public health.

The statement reads:

Racism is a public health crisis. The murder of George Floyd at the hands of police officers is part of the system of racism that permits police brutality, unjust policing and mass incarceration. In NYC, Black and Brown communities face the disproportionate impact, grief and loss from the COVID-19 pandemic on top of the trauma of state sanctioned violence. The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is committed to addressing structural racism within our own institution and addressing racism as a social determinant of health as part of our mission to protect the health of New Yorkers. To make lasting change, we call on our sister city agencies to address structural racism in their own organizations: Join us in this stand against injustice to do better in service of Black, Brown and all New Yorkers.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with about 150 health intities has declared rascism to be a “public health crisis” under the guidance of President Joe Biden’s appointee Dr. Rochelle Wolensky.

Russia’s government declared Wednesday a non-working week starting Oct. 30 amid a record number of COVID-19 infections and deaths.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said he supported a Cabinet proposal to introduce the non-working period that will begin on Oct. 30 and continue through the following week. Putin went on to say that the non-working period could begin as early as Saturday in areas where COVID-19 infections are the highest.

“Our task today is to protect life and health of our citizens and minimize the consequences of the dangerous infection,” Putin said in a video conference with top Russian officials. “To achieve that, it’s necessary to first of all slow the pace of contagion and mobilize additional reserves of the health care system, which is currently working under a high strain.”

Russia reported more than 34,000 new cases and 1,028 COVID-19 related Wednesday, the highest one-day death count since the beginning of the pandemic. There have been more than 8 million total cases and 435,000 deaths in Russia since the pandemic began.

Putin further urged Russians to get vaccinated against COVID-19, warning Wednesday that “it’s a matter of your life and health and the health of your dear ones,”

“There are only two ways to get over this period — to get sick or to receive a vaccine,” he said. “It’s better to get the vaccine, why wait for the illness and its grave consequences? Please be responsible and take the necessary measures to protect yourself, your health and your close ones.”

Russia became the first country in the world to authorize a COVID-19 vaccine in August 2020 however vaccine hesitancy continues among the public due to what some say are mixed signals by officials. Just 32% of Russians, or 45 million of the country’s approximately 146 million people, have been fully vaccinated.

Putin received his first dose of the domestic Sputnik V vaccine in late March and his second dose in April. He said in remarks Wednesday that he did not understand the hesitancy about getting the vaccine, even among those in his personal entourage.

“I can’t understand what’s going on,” Putin said, “We have a reliable and efficient vaccine. The vaccine really reduces the risks of illness, grave complications and death.”

The seriousness of former President Bill Clinton’s hospitalization has been confirmed when his doctor stated Clinton has an infection that is spreading into his bloodstream. According to his doctors, he was checked in to UC Irvine Medical Center earlier this week and has been monitored closely ever since. The infection is thought to have first started as a common UTI, but things got serious once it leaked into his bloodstream.

While currently in the intensive care unit Dr. Alpesh Amin, from UC Irvine, and Clinton’s personal doctor, Dr. Lisa Bardack have administered antibiotics and fluids through an IV to the former president.

The 75-year-old is keeping on the bright side while being cared for by his medical team who says he’s expected to be just fine.

His doctors reported, “After two days of treatment, his white blood cell count is trending down and he is responding to antibiotics well. We hope to have him go home soon.”

Before falling ill, Clinton appeared at a fundraiser in California looking particularly pale and somewhat tired. Of course, Clinton has a laundry list of serious medical issues including a quadruple bypass heart surgery in 2004 then two stents inserted to open an artery in 2010.

His doctors wanted to reiterate that Clinton’s hospitalization has nothing to do with COVID or with his heart condition.

California is seeing a crazy surge in gasoline prices along the Big Sur coast with prices reaching $7.59 for a gallon of fuel which is THE highest level nationwide in seven years.

According to KABC 7 Los Angeles, a gas station in Gorda, California, along the Big Sur coast, is charging $7.59 for normal fuel and $8.50 for premium gasoline.

What is the reason? According to WPTV 5, the community, which is located on Highway 1 in Southern California, has only one station, with the nearest being 40 miles north and 12 miles south. Due to its location, it has gouged the price of gas and this isn’t even the first time either.

Even though prices at the Gorda gas station are absurdly expensive — much over the national average, even in California – gas prices continue to climb across the state and country.

Gas in Monterey County, California, where Gorda is situated, is presently priced at $4.60 per gallon, slightly more than the state average of $4.53, according to AAA. The national average price of a gallon of petrol is $3.36, up 5 cents from last week and 16 cents from earlier this month when it reached $3.20. The highest price for a gallon of gasoline since 2014.

While the current price is still well below the record high of $4.11 established in 2008, it is much more than the national average for the same time period last year, when petrol cost just $2.16 per gallon, according to AAA.

“Compared to the price of gas a year ago, it now costs consumers about $17 more to fill up their vehicles,” AAA spokesperson Andrew Gross said in a statement. “That’s the cost of a large pizza with toppings. And unfortunately, it doesn’t look like drivers will be finding relief at the pump any time soon.”

AAA confirmed with GasBuddy. They reported gas prices at $3.30 per gallon last week, claiming a rise in crude oil prices as a result of increasing demand and OPEC nations adhering to their output restrictions.

“The national average closed the week by climbing to yet another fresh seven-year high, as the price of oil continues to drag gas prices along for the wild ride, leaving motorists on empty,” said GasBuddy head of petroleum analysis Patrick De Haan, in a statement. “With OPEC holding back oil production and strong global oil demand, the situation will no doubt pave the road with even higher gas prices in the weeks ahead. Until several bottlenecks ease, including supply chains and low global inventories of oil, natural gas and coal, we’ll be stuck feeling the pinch of rising oil and gasoline prices. The bad news is that for now, all I see is the upward trend at the pump continuing into the weeks ahead with no sign of relief just yet.”

Biden has made one bad decision after another since he took office earlier this year. His latest one has him responsible for a horrible act against a young woman in Montana. Zabihullah Mohmand, 19, was charged with criminal rape following his placement in Montana by the Biden administration, according to US officials.

The victim, named in court records as “Jane Doe,” claims she met Mohmand and two other males at a pub and they agreed to depart together to attend a home party. After leaving the pub, she discovered there was no house party, but she decided to return to his hotel despite her stated desire for nothing to happen.

The Missoulian reports:

While telling police her story, she then began crying. She and Mohmand did have sex, she said, adding “(she) just couldn’t get him off me.” Mohmand wouldn’t let her leave, she told law enforcement. She also mentioned that another man was in the room during the assault. When she eventually left the room to get an Uber, Mohmand allegedly followed her out and tried to stop her from leaving.

In cellphone correspondence with her friend, the woman reported being raped. Her neck had significant bruising and red marks, charging documents said. She told officers Mohmand had held her down on the bed by placing his hand around her neck with force.

Governor Greg Gianforte of Montana, Senator Steve Daines (R-MT), and Representative Matt Rosendale (R-MT) have all released remarks on the alleged rape.

Gianforte demanded Biden to halt the flow of Afghan refugees into his state until federal law enforcement personnel can be thoroughly vetted in line with federal law due to his “serious concerns about whether the Biden administration is meeting its obligations to fully vet Afghans prior to resettlement.”

But all this is too late for the woman who had to suffer from the Afghan refugee who should not have been able to come into the state at all.

The big news right now is the discovery of several items thought to belong to Brian Laundrie as well as unconfirmed partial human remains at the Florida Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park. It definitely could be a huge break in the case and everyone who is anyone is down there trying to get the scoop.

Everyone, that is, except Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Dog hasn’t given up the search but a stroke of bad luck sent him home to Colorado to mend his injured ankle.

He might be down and on the mend at the moment, but that doesn’t mean Dog is out of the fight — we’re told he still has reason to believe BL is alive … and will continue filtering through tips.

Speaking of those … we’re told that since he’s been back in the Rockies, Dog’s received upwards of 4,000 possible leads — through which he’s sifting for one that might be legit. As you can imagine, it’s a daunting task — but DTBH is up for it.

Consider this as well … Dog was roughing it in the Sunshine State — which our sources say took a toll on him. The guy was seen wading through marshy swamps in the area — but even beyond that … we’re told he’d been putting in 20-hour days, and sustained injuries that he hasn’t really made public … leaving him cut up and bloodied.

Now, as to whether Dog will return to Florida, his rep says only time will tell. If these bones turn out to be those of the missing Brian Laundrie the search will be over and Dog will have no reason to travel back down south.

On the bright side, this experience has given the bounty hunter a new purpose utilizing his skills to help families find their missing loved ones.

Paring down his “build back better” plans, President Joe Biden presented a more restrictive vision to Democrats on Tuesday of a $2 trillion government-overhaul package with at least $500 billion to be allotted for climate change and middle-class concerns such as child tax credits, paid family leaves, healthcare, and free pre-kindergarten.

The president met privately with nearly 20 centrist and progressive lawmakers as Democrats seemed to be ready to discard what had been a $3.5 trillion package for a less expensive proposal that could unite the party and pass in Congress. Most likely to be eliminated or cut back are plans for tuition-free community colleges, a path to legal status for immigrants in the U.S. without documentation, and a specific clean energy plan that was the pinnacle of Biden’s strategy for fighting climate change.

Biden felt “more confident” after the meetings, press secretary Jen Psaki said.

“There was broad agreement that there is urgency in moving forward over the next several days and that the window for finalizing a package is closing,” said Psaki.

Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., a progressive caucus member, said Biden rushed the lawmakers to “get something done now” to establish U.S. leadership on climate change on the global stage.

“He really believes in American leadership, American prestige is on the line,” Khanna said.

In Tuesday’s meetings, Biden focused on providing at least $500 billion in tax credits, grants, and loans to fight climate change, including tax breaks for energy producers that reach emission-reduction goals.

The policy has been touted for providing cash to families most in need. Democrats want to extend the credit for years. At this time the credit is to be phased out for single-parent households earning more than $75,000 per year or $150,000 per year for couples, though those income thresholds could be lowered to meet the demands of Manchin and more conservative Democrats.

“It’s not the robust vision the president wants or that we wanted,” Khanna said.

With Republicans fully opposed to Biden’s plans, the president needs all Democrats in the 50-50 split Senate for passage and can only spare a few votes in the House.

Congress has set an Oct. 31 deadline for passage.
