In his attempt to appeal to the Hispanic voters at a campaign in Kissimmee, Florida on Tuesday, Joe Biden created one of the most cringy moments of his entire campaign.

The event was meant to honor Hispanic Heritage Month and the Democratic candidate was up last to speak following several big-name supporters like Eva Longoria, Ricky Martin, and Luis Fonsi.

When Biden approached the podium he said, “I just have one thing to say here.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out what looks like his cell phone and held it up to the microphone and began playing the 2017 hit song “Despacito.”

The next 15 seconds are hard to watch. Biden bobs his head to the music and laughs awkwardly in his sad attempt to connect to the young people in the crowd.

He pauses the music and says, “I’ll tell you what – if I had the talent of any one of these people, I’d be elected president by acclamation.”

Critics jumped at the change to poke fun of the former VP for this epic “cringe” moment.

Trump campaign senior adviser Mercedes Schlapp tweeted, “Does @JoeBiden realize that Despacito means ‘slowly’? Fits well with Slow Joe.”

“This is so unbelievably cringe,” posted Erielle Davidson, a senior policy analyst at the Jewish Institute for National Security of America.

Earlier in the day, Biden raised eyebrows when he spoke to veterans in Tampa and referred to his party’s ticket as the “Harris-Biden administration.”

I have to admit, I look forward to Joe Biden’s public appearances just so I can watch him put his foot in his mouth.

Attorney General Willim Barr condemned mainstream media for their coverage of riots in major cities like Portland and Kenosha calling them “a collection of liars and they know exactly what they’re doing”

In an interview with Townhall.com Barr said the media was intentionally lying to the American people for partisan reasons.

“Right on the street it was clear as day what was going on,” Barr said referring to the violence and destruction happening everyday in those cities, “anyone observing it, reporters observing it, it could not have escaped their attention that this was orchestrated violence by a hardened group of street fighting radicals and they kept on excluding from their coverage all the video of this and reporting otherwise and they were doing that for partisan reasons, and they were lying to the American people. It wasn’t until they were caught red-handed after essentially weeks of this lie that they even started feeling less timid.”

Since George Floyd’s death in May protests have turned into full blown riots and major television networks have gone out of their way to ignore the violence. The most notable of these denials came from CNN when a reporter stood in front of a burning building in Kenosha during a live broadcast and called the protest “Fiery but mostly peaceful.”

“The press has dropped, in my view – and I’m talking about the national mainstream media – has dropped any pretense of professional objectivity and are political actors, highly partisan who try to shape what they’re reporting to achieve a political purpose and support a political narrative that has nothing to do with the truth. They’re very mendacious about it,” AG Barr continued. “It’s very destructive to our Republic; it’s very destructive to the Democratic system to have that, especially being so monolithic. It’s contributing to a lot of the intensity and partisanship.”

Barr told Townhall he believes mainstream media is not really concerned what is actually happening when reporting a story but instead they’re interested “in pursuing a preformed narrative that suits some kind of ideological agenda.”

Rep. Ken Buck has concerns about the controversial new film from Netflix called “Cuties” so he sent a letter to the Department of Justice.

Buck and fellow GOP Rep. Andy Biggs are demanding an investigation into the movie to determine if all federal laws regarding the exploitation of minors were followed.

“We write expressing our concerns regarding the potential exploitation of children in Netflix’s recently released film, Cuties,” Buck and Biggs wrote in the letter. “We join our Congressional colleagues in urging the Department of Justice (DOJ) to open an investigation to ensure the film and its production uphold federal laws protecting children from exploitation.”

The film is centered on an 11-year-old Senegalese immigrant living in Paris who joins a group of girls and they perform highly provocative and eroticized dance routines while wearing very skimpy clothing.  It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last year and earned French director Maïmouna Doucouré a best directing award.

“Throughout the film, young girls engage in sexually provocative dances, and the film includes at least one scene where a young girl is partially nude,” the congressmen continued. “Not only does this raise alarms that these girls may have been exploited in the production of Cuties, but the film also creates an environment where the sexual abuse and exploitation of children by pedophiles is normalized. While the Constitution vigorously protects the freedoms of speech and expression, content that victimizes minors is not among these protected forms of content.”

The letter goes on to push for an investigation into the casting calls for the film to make sure none of the children were taken advantage of in a sexual or exploitative manner.

The congressmen claim that the young girls’ dance routines are an affront to their dignity and it adds fuel to the fire that is the child sex trafficking trade.

“Finally, the Department of Justice should also investigate those involved in the film’s casting and production to ensure these children were not exploited behind the scenes,” Buck and Biggs added. “The sexualization and gross objectification of these girls on [the] screen creates an environment that is ripe for individuals to take advantage of these innocent children. As we have seen all too often, the inherent power structure of film production leaves these girls vulnerable to indecent and potentially abusive treatment.”

Buck said in an email to Fox News, “We cannot stand idly by while Netflix distributes this disturbing film that encourages the exploitation of children.”

Congressional Republicans are demanding to know if there “was a widespread intentional effort” to wipe the mobile devices of people on former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team during the Russia probe.

These accusations come after newly released records from the Justice Department show several dozen of the team member’s phones were wiped of information due to forgotten passcodes, irreparable screen damage, intentional deletion, or other reasons. All of the phones were wiped before the Justice Department inspector general’s office could review the devices.

Senator Chuck Grassley sent a letter to Attorney General Bill Barr and FBI Director Christopher Wray asking if there were any actions that could be taken to recover any information deleted from the mobile devices.

Grassley wrote in the letter, “It appears that Special Counsel Mueller’s team may have deleted federal records that could be key to better understanding their decision-making process as they pursued their investigation and wrote their report. Indeed, many officials apparently deleted the records after the DOJ Inspector General began his inquiry into how the Department mishandled Crossfire Hurricane.”

The Senator added that “based on this new information, the number of times and the stated reasons for the deletions calls into question whether or not it was a widespread intentional effort.”

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham slammed Mueller’s team saying, “If you can’t manage your own phone, why should we trust you to investigate a crime?”

“The question is, did they obstruct justice, did they intentionally delete information from their phone because [Inspector General Michael] Horowitz was on the case?” Graham asked.

The Chairman said the question should be considered by U.S. Attorney for Connecticut John Durham since he is currently investigating the source of the Russia probe.

Senator Ron Johnson is also “outraged by it” and wants answers.

I’m not a lawyer,” Johnson said to Fox News, “but I am aware of the concept of anticipatory obstruction of justice.” He argues that the action of “accidentally wiping a phone because you entered the wrong password too many times” makes him “highly skeptical,” and more than a dozen people making “the same mistake is completely unbelievable.”

Johnson added that he requested a phone call with the FBI Director and said, “This needs to be fully investigated.”

House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes joked that the deleted information was an “amazing coincidence.”

Nunes told Fox News, “You’d think these people could come up with a more believable excuse for hiding evidence.”

Our American soldiers give their lives to protect our freedoms. Our children look up to these men and women so they should conduct themselves in a way that would make us all proud. That is why it is so upsetting to hear when one of these service-men acts so shamefully.

In Colorado, Tech Sergeant Cory Reeves was discharged from the Air Force after he was found to be an active member of a white supremacist group.

One year ago when reports started coming in about Reeves’ activities with Colorado Springs Anti-Fascists in a group called Identity Evropa he was demoted from Master Sergeant to Tech Sergeant.

The Air Force started investigating the claims and discovered that Reeves was an active member of the group.

Reeves, who had been in the service for more than 15 years, was raising money for the group, and chat logs between him and another member show that he was willing to help with “some missions” in Colorado Springs.

Screenshots of these chats were leaked by Unicorn Riot, an online alternative media source, and reveal that Reeves claimed to be the only member of the group in Hawaii before he moved to Colorado.

The former airman even brags in the chat logs about pictures shared by the Colorado Springs Anti-Fascists of himself captured at the Identity Evropa events saying, “High-resolution photos of my face are all over Antifa websites and they are clueless to my identity.”

According to the Anti-Defamation League, Identity Evropa, which has since been rebranded as the American Identity Movement, was one of the most active white Supremacist groups in recent years.

A spokesperson for the Schriever Air Force Base where Reeves was stationed commented, “Racism, hatred, and bigotry have no place in the Air Force, and we’re committed to a culture where all airmen can feel welcome and thrive.”

It’s unlikely that Joe Biden set up antifa.com to go straight to his campaign’s website but that connection probably isn’t hurting him.

Tucker Carlson argues that the link between the two sites is probably helping Biden obtain the vote from many of the anti-fascists.

“It seems unlikely that the Biden campaign set this up,” he said. “But the Biden campaign is almost surely benefiting from it as some percentage of its voters go on the Internet looking for directions on how to make urine bombs and wind up on the campaign webpage and then give money.”

There is no actual proof of a purposeful connection between these sites but if Biden didn’t do it then why didn’t his campaign issue a statement regarding the connection?

Carlson also asked the question, “Why hasn’t Biden disavowed Antifa itself?”

“If the address ‘KuKluxKlan.com’ brought you to Donald Trump’s website, you can be confident Reuters would not issue a fact-check telling you it’s no big deal,” he said.

Biden was even given the opportunity to condemn the violence from extremist groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter during a news conference Wednesday but instead, he did the opposite.

Carlson said, “Remember the BLM psychopaths who cheered when a Trump supporter was assassinated in Portland over the weekend? Joe Biden essentially said he agreed with them. He said the dead guy asked for it.”

Carlson notes that Biden went out of his way to not say a “cross or critical word about a murderer,” even suggesting that the guilty party should “meet legal requirements.”

“What the hell is that?” he asked. “Why don’t you say, ‘It’s wrong to shoot people for supporting my opponent? I don’t want my campaign associated with people like this, with murderers and criminals.’ Simple.”

“Joe Biden benefits from Antifa and BLM,” he added. “Let’s stop lying about it. That’s what’s happening.”

To put it plainly, you won’t ever hear Biden say, or even suggest the condemning of violence from Antifa or BLM because they are the only thing keeping his campaign alive.

In the four years since Donald Trump’s monumental victory in the 2016 presidential election, Republicans have amassed nearly seven times more registered voters than the Democrats in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Republicans have gained almost 198,000 registered voters since 2016, while Democrats are lagging behind with just 29,000 additional voters. The Republican’s biggest net gain comes from western Pennsylvania’s Westmore, Luzerne, and Washington counties.

Democrats claim to not be too concerned about this increase but in 2016 there was a rise in three critical areas across Pennsylvania, including Erie, Luzerne, and Northampton counties, with attributed to Trump beating Hillary in the state by less than one percentage point.

Many party officials give President Trump the credit for this triumph and believe Republicans have benefitted from his in-person campaigning while Biden opted for a more virtual approach.

Democratic analysis firm TargetSmart CEO Tom Bonier claims that the Republican’s success is due to lagging date. He told reporters that Democrats have signed up nearly 415,000 new voters compared to only 282,000 for the Republicans.

Lawrence Tabas, the leader of the Pennsylvania Republican Party, told Politico that Democrats are just trying to make excuses.

“If I were them, I would say that I think voter registration is some sort of a lagging issue. You would, too,” he said “Having this additional edge of newly registered Republicans from the Democratic base, these are people who are going to vote in November. These people are committed.”

Regardless, this year’s election is going to be different from any we have seen before dut to a lack of polling worker, a global pandemic, an economic recession, and all the risks that come with the recommended vote by mail system.

While new national polls show Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is holding on to that single-digit lead over President Trump but public opinion surveys prove that more voters think Trump will win the election by a 48%-43% margin.

The survey also suggests that a lot of voters believe there is a silent majority of Trump supporters who keep their preferences to themselves. Out of those questioned in the survey, 55% said they think there are secret voters in their community backing Trump with only 3 in 10 believing there are secret Biden supporters.

“Look, we are not asking this question as some backdoor way to tap into a secret Trump vote that the polls are missing. We have plenty of evidence that there was no measurable secret vote in 2016 or this year either,” said Monmouth University Polling Institute director Patrick Murray. “However, voters’ belief that a secret Trump vote does exist is a very real phenomenon we need to acknowledge. If this expected vote does not materialize on Election Day, some Democrats will be pleasantly surprised and some Republicans will be shocked.”

According to the latest national polls, Biden is ahead of the president by 7.5 points but that closely mirrors the 2016 polls when Hillary Clinton was ahead of Trump by 3.2 points one day before the general election. But Trump came out on top with many of the key battleground states which helped him defeat Clinton in the Electoral College count and win the presidency.

Murray said in a statement, “Of course, most voters believed that Clinton was going to win four years ago and they accepted the different outcome. But the reasons why voters think Trump will win again suggest that some may not accept this year’s result if he loses.”

The poll also indicates that about 60% of voters are optimistic that the November election will be conducted fairly and accurately, but the rest are unsure of how the election will be conducted.

The Monmouth University poll used live telephone operators to question 758 registered voters all across the nation. The survey’s overall sampling error is just 3.6 percentage points.

Allegations are flying around about President Trump lying to the public about the seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic, but it was really the Democrats who initially downplayed the crisis.

During Fox News’ “Hannity” Wednesday night the host played a video of Joe Biden speaking at a rally in South Carolina just three weeks after President Trump told journalist Bob Woodward that the virus was “deadly stuff.”

At the rally, told supporters that although it was a “serious public health challenge” it was “not a time to panic” about the virus.

Hannity asked, “Will the media, the mob, spend the next 24 hours freaking out about those comments? I wouldn’t hold my breath.”

He made the point that “the Biden campaign didn’t even release an official response on the pandemic until March 11.” Hannity added that the plan was only a few paragraphs long and “included things that the president was already doing.”

Going into April, the Biden campaign claimed that the former vice president stood behind Trump’s decision to restrict travel from China to the United States. However, when the restriction was first announced, Biden said it was in line with Trump’s “record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering.”

Hannity argues, “If Joe Biden were in charge, it’s not a question of if more Americans would have contracted the virus and died. But how many hundreds of thousands of more Americans would’ve contracted the virus.”

“This is now the insanity season,” the host explained. “Fifty-five days away from a tipping point election, the lying, the smears, the slander … the hysteria is now reaching a fever pitch, and with just 55 days until you become the ultimate jury, the anti-Trump insanity is going to be non-stop.”

That means the Democrats are going to be scrambling to come up with something they can use to make the president look guilty but these are covert manipulation tactics. Twisting the truth is the only way the left knows how to operate.

Eighty-year-old Harry Harvey got separated from his group while hiking in England Saturday. The elderly man disappeared after the group got caught in a heavy hail storm. When Harney found himself on his own he said he went to “plan B,” which entailed staying safe and warm.

“Where we got separated was absolutely desolate,” said Harvey, “there was no chance of putting a tent up, that’s for sure. So I had to find somewhere safe. That’s what I did.”

The National Park website describes the Yorkshire Dales, the area where Harvey was lost, as a “rolling landscape of lush dales (valleys), windswept hills like the famous Three Peaks and vast expanses of heather-covered moors.”

Over the next three days, Harvey was completely isolated. Periodically he spotted people far away but was unable to alert them.

“I used my whistle, the distress call, but to no avail,” he said.

Thankfully, Harvey was well-prepared and survived without serious injury. His son said, “We know he’s experienced, but not three days — that’s taking it a little to the extreme.”

Harney was finally found by a wildlife photographer who noticed him waving from a distance. Rescue officers lead Harney into a pub where a press conference was about to take place as his family was organizing a search party to find him. The family members embrace in an emotional moment that was captured in a video then later posted to Facebook.

Local Inspector Mark Gee released a statement Tuesday saying, “I want to thank all the search volunteers for their time, as well as Gamekeepers, estate owners, farmers, and local residents for their help and understanding. Thanks also to the Tan Hill [Inn], who looked after the volunteers and Mr. Harvey’s family.”

Over 100 mountain rescue members volunteered to be involved in the search.
