Former President Rips Americans In New Memoir

In former President Barack Obamas latest memoir he shamed the American people for liking “cheap gas and big cars” more than they ever cared about “the environment” even during the catastrophic 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

Obama made these criticisms in “A Promised Land,” his newest 700-page book released in early November.

On the 570th page, the former commander in chief recalls a press conference held a month over the beginning of the oil spill, which has now been considered one of the largest in history. He said his comments at the time did not adequately express the true frustration he felt.

    From Fox News:

“Reading the transcript now, a decade later, I’m struck by how calm and cogent I sound,” Obama writes in his book. “Maybe I’m surprised because the transcript doesn’t register what I remember feeling at the time or come close to capturing what I really wanted to say before the assembled White House press corps.”

What he really wanted to say was that government regulatory agencies were not fully equipped to address an environmental accident because many American voters for decades had “bought into the idea that government was the problem and that business always knew better, and had elected leaders who made it their mission to gut environmental regulations, starve agency budgets, denigrate civil servants, and allow industrial polluters to do whatever the hell they wanted to do.”

He then chastised Americans for not being willing to foot the bill for technology to “quickly plug the hole because it would be expensive to have such technology on hand, and we Americans didn’t like paying higher taxes—especially when it was to prepare for problems that hadn’t happened yet.”

The only way to truly prevent another catastrophe, like the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, Obama says, “was to stop drilling entirely.”

“But that wasn’t going to happen because at the end of the day we Americans loved our cheap gas and big cars more than we cared about the environment, except when a complete disaster was staring us in the face,” he writes.

The Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion killed 11 people and injured 17 others in April 2010 then for nearly three months over 200 million gallons of crude oil flowed into the Gulf of Mexico polluting 16,000 miles of coastline in the southern United States and killing over 8,000 animals.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said it was “the worst environmental disaster in American history.”

According to new research published this year, the toxic oil spread far beyond the initial footprint of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

  • This Year’s White House Christmas Theme Goes Beyond Expectations

This Year’s White House Christmas Theme Goes Beyond Expectations

The president and first lady will not let recent events hamper their holiday spirit. One week after a huge 18-foot Fraser fir was delivered to the White House Melania Trump shared a video of the beautiful Christmas decorations decking the halls of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Trump shared a sneek peek of this year’s festive touches featuring more traditional decorations than previous years. There were plenty of trees adorned with bulbs, stars, and many homemade decorations from children across the country.

The footage also appears to show a miniature White House decorated for the holiday, as well as a train set dubbed the “White House Express.”

This year’s theme is called “America the Beautiful” and aims to pay “tribute to the majesty of our great Nation,”

Mrs. Trump said on Twitter, “Together, we celebrate this land we are all proud to call home.”

She also praised “volunteers from all across the country” for pitching in to help put up the decorations over the weekend.

“Thank you for your time, enthusiasm & devotion to make sure the spirit of peace & joy fill the historic rooms & halls of the People’s House!” Trump wrote.

So far, the White House’s 2020 Christmas decorations appear to be more traditional and less controversial, as in the past years. The first lady’s arrangments in 2017 gained criticism with some comparing it to the “Chronicles of Narnia” film franchise. And in 2018, critics took offense with the red trees lining one of the White Houe’s halls.

But Trump didn’t let the haters get her down and said she thought the adornments looked “fantastic.”

Since Jacqueline Kennedy decorated the White House with a “Nutcracker Suite” theme in 1961, it has become the first lady’s duty to choose a theme for the estate’s Christmas decorations.

Secretary Of States Launches Probe Into Illegal Third-Party Voting

The top election official in Georgia announced that he will be opening an investigation into whether third-party groups are trying to register nonresidential voters in Georgia’s Senate runoff elections on January 5.

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told reporters that “we have opened an investigation into a group called America Votes who is sending absentee ballot applications to people at addresses where they have not lived since 1994.”

He also said his investigators are looking into “Vote Forward, who attempted to register a dead Alabama voter, a woman, to vote here in Georgia.” Raffensperger also mentioned “The New Georgia Project, who sent voter registration applications to New York City.”

The secretary of state highlighted “Operation New Voter Registration Georgia, who is telling college students in Georgia that they can change their residency to Georgia and then change it back after the election.”

Raffensperger stressed that “voting in Georgia when you’re not a resident of Georgia is a felony. And encouraging college students to commit felonies without regard for what it might mean for them is despicable. These third-party groups have a responsibility not to encourage illegal voting. If they do so, they will be held responsible.”

There are 23 investigators from Raffensperger’s office working on 250 open investigations into “credible claims of illegal voting” and election law violations.

The election official managing Georgia’s voting system, Gabriel Sterling, told reporters that “this is new information, these outside groups attempting to register people illegally potentially, in other states.”

Sterling said it was as if these third-party groups seem to be “literally saying ‘hey, it’s OK to commit a felony’” and he emphasized that “this office will continue to take steps to protect the voting rights of the legally registered Georgians of this state, Republican, Democrat, independent, and whatever party you may be a member of.”

Attorney General’s Request Will Blow Epstein Case Wide Open

Jeffery Epstein died in his jail cell from an alleged suicide over a year ago but his story is far from over.

There is still the fate of his long-time girlfriend and partner in crime, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently locked up in Brooklyn jail cell awaiting trial. Many believe that Maxwell can provide enough substantial evidence to bring down everyone involved in Epstein’s sick empire.

Of course, that means Maxwell would have to implicate herself in the evil child sex trafficking operation believed to have involved some very famous people.

But there is another angle at play here and the Attorney General in the U.S. Virgin Islands is ready to break this thing wide open with a very serious request.

Flight logs listing the names of all the people transported on Jeffrey Epstein’s fleet of aircraft have been subpoenaed by a court in the U.S. Virgin Islands, sparking panic through the rich and famous ranks of those who partied with the deceased pedophile.

The Daily Mirror newspaper reports the Attorney General in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where the billionaire had an estate and is said to have carried out many of his horrific crimes, has demanded to see the logs which document the passengers on his aircraft and their dates of travel.

The logs on his four helicopters and three planes, including his “Lolita Express” private jet, span from 1998 until his suicide in prison last year.

Attorney General Denise George has filed a lawsuit against his estate alleging 22 accounts including human trafficking, aggravated rape, child abuse, neglect, forced labour and prostitution, the Mirror reported.

Locals dubbed Epstein’s private island “Pedophile Island” as that is where he would traffick young girls he and his pals would use and abuse.

Given the many high-profile names mentioned in the scandal, there is no doubt that some very powerful people are getting very nervous right about now.

  • President Trump Survives A Harrowing Assassination Attempt

President Trump Survives A Harrowing Assassination Attempt

With every devastating blow President Trump has received this year, it’s amazing that he still manages to get out of bed every morning and run an entire country, half of which seems to be fighting against him.

He has dealt with wildfires, a global pandemic, political buffoonery, riots, and months of racial unrest. As if all of that wasn’t enough he still has to look out for the odd assassination attempt!

The president is lucky enough to still have a fiercely loyal team protecting him at all times or else we may have been welcoming President-elect Joe Biden into the White House a little sooner than anticipated.

    From CBS News:

A woman suspected of sending an envelope containing the poison ricin, which was addressed to the White House, has been arrested at the New York-Canada border. The woman is also suspected of sending similar poisoned envelopes to law enforcement agencies in Texas, officials said Monday.

The letter had been intercepted earlier this week before it reached the White House. The woman was taken into custody by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Peace Bridge border crossing near Buffalo and is expected to face federal charges, three law enforcement officials told The Associated Press.

CBS News has also learned that the woman was carrying a gun when she was arrested.

Her name was not immediately released, but the woman was expected to appear in federal court in Buffalo on Tuesday. The U.S. Attorney’s office in Buffalo said the hearing, scheduled for 4pm Tuesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge H. Kenneth Schroeder, Jr., will occur in person, not virtually.

This isn’t the first time someone plotted to kill Donald Trump. In 2016, before he was elected president, at a rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael Steven Sandford attempted to grab the pistol of a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer and shoot Trump to prevent him from becoming president. He failed of course and was charged with disorderly conduct and with being an “illegal alien in possession of a firearm.”

President Trump Snaps Back At Reporter For Absurd Comments

President Trump became offended during a news conference after reporter Jeff Mason from Reuters dismissed his claims of voter fraud during the 2020 presidential election.

Mason began by asking President Trump if he would concede if the Electoral College votes for Biden.

“It’s going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know there was massive fraud,” The president responded, “Well, if they do, they made a mistake, because this election was a fraud.”

The president then snapped at the reporter, “Don’t talk to me that way. You’re just a lightweight. Don’t talk to me that way. I’m the president of the United States. Don’t ever talk to the president that way.”

Before the disruption, Trump had been making claims of election results showing Democrat Joe Biden “losing to Obama all over the place” in noncritical states, meaning Biden did not meet the election performance of the former president.

However, Trump did say that Biden’s vote totals passed those of Obama “in areas that mattered in terms of the election- in swing states.”

What the president seemed to be suggesting was that Biden’s vote totals in battleground states could have been manipulated.

No matter how you slice it President Trump always comes to the same conclusion, “This election was a fraud.”

This isn’t the first time President Trump had a confrontation with Mason. In late October the president poked fun at the reporter for wearing a face mask inside the Oval Office.

“This is Jeff Mason,” Trump told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, “He’s got a mask on that’s the largest mask I think I’ve ever seen. So I don’t know if you can hear him.”

Airline Stewardess Caught Offering More Than Peanuts During Flights

An investigation has been launched by British Airways after one of its Heathrow-based stewardesses has been accused of selling sex and used undergarments during and in between flights.

Photos of the flight attendant were found on social media along with a risqué advertisement. The photos showed the attendant in several suggestive poses while wearing her airline uniform on the plane.

According to the advertisement, $33 will buy the attendant’s used underwear, double that will be a down payment for a prospective “client” to meet her at a hotel.

Also, if the price is right, passengers were promised unspecified “adult entertainment on-board.”

The stewardess allegedly wrote, “All you have to do is give me a sum of money and you’ll be treated to a whole different experience of your choice.”

After the advertisements were first exposed her social media accounts were allegedly deleted. The airline is still investigating to identify the unnamed mystery stewardess.

“We expect the highest standard of behavior from all of our colleagues at all times,” said airline officials, “and we are investigating the claims.”

  • BREAKING NEWS! President-Elect Joe Biden Sustains Major Injury

BREAKING NEWS! President-Elect Joe Biden Sustains Major Injury

On Sunday doctors said that President-elect Joe Biden had sustained a sprain after twisting his right ankle while playing with his German Shepard, Major.

Biden’s physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor said of the injury, “Initial x-rays are reassuring that there is no obvious fracture and he will be getting an additional CT for more detailed imaging. Follow-up CT scan confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden’s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot.”

“It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks,” added the doctor.

This update came just hours after Biden’s team confirmed his injury, stating that the 78-year-old twisted his ankle while playing with the 2-year-old pup and would immediately be examined by an orthopedist “out of an abundance of caution.”

A spokesperson for Biden said appointments had been made for the president-elect to “receive an x-ray and then additional CT Sunday afternoon… to avoid disrupting scheduled appointments on Monday.”

Reporters covering the president-elect were not allowed to see Biden as he entered the doctor’s office. However, he was seen limping as he left the doctor’s office heading to an imaging center for his CT scan. Biden was apparently able to walk without the use of a crutch or any other aid.

Major will be the very first rescue dog to live in the White House. He is one of the two Biden’s German Shepards and was adopted from the Delaware Humane Society in 2018. Their other dog, Champ, has been in the family since 2008.

The Biden’s say they also have plans to get a cat.

  • President Trump Will Not Agree To Leave The White House Until This Happens

President Trump Will Not Agree To Leave The White House Until This Happens

President Donald Trump said that he would leave office if the Electoral College votes for President-elect Joe Biden but still asserts there was “massive fraud” in the vote count and promised to keep up with his legal fight.

The president was asked by a reporter if he would remove himself after an unsuccessful electoral college vote, he replied, “Certainly I will. … You know that I will.”

    From Fox News:

Regarding the series of legal challenges in multiple states, Trump said: “A lot of things [are] happening between now and Jan. 20.”

“It’s going to be a very hard thing to concede,” Trump later added.

Asked if he would consider running again on the Republican ticket in 2024, Trump said, “I don’t want to talk to 2024 yet.”

The president stated that the 2020 election results still “have a long way to go.”

Trump also revealed he’d travel to Georgia on Saturday to campaign for GOP Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler to supper them in their runoff contests.

He also said that people were “very disappointed we were robbed”’ in Georgia after the state certified its election results in favor of Biden.

The Trump legal team was dealt a blow this week after Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Nevada certified their election results. A Wednesday lawsuit from attorney Sidney Powell sought to decertify Georgia’s election result and award it to Trump.

The lawsuit, which names Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger among the defendants, alleges multiple Constitutional violations, citing fact witnesses, expert witnesses and statistical impossibilities within the election results, and says tens of thousands of votes were impacted — enough to sway the state in favor of Biden.

Trump on Wednesday asserted again that he had won the election.

“This election was rigged and we can’t let that happen. We can’t let it happen for our country,” Trump said via speakerphone to the Pennsylvania Senate Majority Policy Committee, “And this election has to be turned around because we won Pennsylvania by a lot and we won all these swing states by a lot.”

Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani argued that the Trump campaign has been denied the chance to raise concerns about voter fraud. The former mayor of New York also said that mail-in ballots were the “primary device” used to achieve the alleged fraud.

  • President Trump Warns That Boycotting The Runoff Is Exactly What They Want You To Do

President Trump Warns That Boycotting The Runoff Is Exactly What They Want You To Do

President Trump spoke out against boycotting Georgia’s two Senate runoff elections during his campaign’s ongoing legal battle of the state’s presidential election results.

Trump continues to claim that the 2020 election was a “total scam,” but is still urging his supporters to go out and vote on behalf of Georgia’s Republican Senate candidates, Senator Kelly Loeffler and Senator David Perdue. He also confirmed his upcoming travel plans to Georgia to support their campaigns.

After Politico reported on growing concerns among conservatives planning to boycott the runoffs due to claims of fraud, Trump told supporters to “ignore” the calls not to participate in the vote.

The president warned in a tweet that “we must get out and help David and Kelly… Otherwise we are playing right into the hands of some very sick people.”

The future of the Senate depends on the outcome o Georgia’s January 5th runoff votes. A win in both races would guarantee Democrats a 50/50 ties in Congress’ upper chamber, then Vice President-elect Kamala Harris would determine the tiebreaker.

Perdue is running against Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff and Loeffler will be fighting to retain her seat against Democratic challenger Raphael Warnock. After no candidate received over 50% of the vote in the general election both races were forced to proceed to runoffs.

Earlier this month Georgia certified the results for the presidential election following the completion of a full hand recount. The Trump campaign has harshly criticized Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger for how he handled the election after November 3rd.
