INSANE VIDEO Shows Carjacker Plowing Through Traffic

A video posted on Twitter Thursday by the New York Police Department (NYPD) shows an officer wresting with a suspected carjacker.

The video officer’s body camera recorded him trying to apprehend the suspect in the vehicle in question.

“Five-five and Broadway,” the officer can be heard speaking into his radio as the voice on the other end confirmed the location. The officer then approached a dark-colored vehicle and opens the door, and shouted “don’t f***ing move” at the suspect.

The officer grabbed the suspect’s wrist in an attempt to restrain him. The suspect could be heard telling the officer to “get out” while trying to break free.

“You’re gonna kill somebody,” the officer responded.

The altercation was also captured by a second NYPD officer’s body camera.

“Eighty-five, five-six and Broadway,” the second officer called out into his radio. The second officer approached the vehicle and opened the door from the driver’s side and attempted to grab the suspect. The carjacker put the car and drive and took off, hitting another car.

The video shows the officers running in pursuit of the vehicle as the footage ends.

The video that the police department posted on one of its Twitter accounts shows a grainy photo of the suspect with the tip line for NYPD Crime Stoppers.

The suspect stole an Audi SUV and was driving on the wrong side of the street. The suspect threatened the vehicle’s owner with a stun gun when he took the SUV.
