I don\u2019t believe in coincidence. There is rarely ever a shooting with multiple casualties (unless you live in a Democrat-run city like Detroit) until it benefits the left as they have a big push for gun control.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, former President Barack Obama called on lawmakers to pass more gun control laws to stop the \u201cepidemic of gun violence\u201d in our country.<\/p>\n

Listen, there are millions<\/a> of gun owners in America, if we were the problem, you\u2019d know it!<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is long past time for those with the power to fight this epidemic of gun violence to do so. It will take time to root out the disaffection, racism, and misogyny that fuels so many of these senseless acts of violence,\u201d Obama said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut we can make it harder for those with hate in their hearts to buy weapons of war. We can overcome opposition by cowardly politicians and the pressure of a gun lobby that opposes any limit on the ability of anyone to assemble an arsenal. We can, and we must,\u201d he continued. \u201cA once-in-a-century pandemic cannot be the only thing that slows mass shootings in this country. We shouldn\u2019t have to choose between one type of tragedy and another. It\u2019s time for leaders everywhere to listen to the American people when they say enough is enough\u2014because this is a normal we can no longer afford.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should be able to go to school, or go out with our friends, or worship together without mentally planning our escape if someone shows up with a gun.
