Jerry Nadler Calls The Riots In Portland A “Myth”

When it comes to what is currently happening in our country, Jerry Nadler is way out of touch. The Judiciary Committee Chairman was approached by writer-producer Austen Fletcher and asked about the rioting happening in Oregon City.

In a video posted to Twitter by the writer, Nadler is shown calling the violence in Portland a “myth” even though the protests were declared a riot that morning.

“I ran into Jerry Nadler in DC and asked him to disavow the Antifa violence/rioting in Portland. His response? ‘THAT’S A MYTH'”, wrote Fletcher along with the video.

Nadler was quickly ushered away by his handler after making the comment but before getting in his car Fletcher tells him that it’s a “myth that’s being spread only in Washington DC.”

The high ranking Democrat who is popular in his state of New York must have his head buried in the sand. His comment spread quickly across the internet and he is receiving some very negative feedback.

Among the people who blasted Nadler online was Eric Trump. In a tweet, President Trump’s youngest son said, “This is the Democratic Party in 2020.”

Elijah Schaffer, host of Slightly Offensive on The Blaze Radio Network, was also upset about the comment, “Portland is at was every night, but Rep Jerry Nadler says my video coverage of Antifa violence & vandalism is a ‘myth.’ Antifa is very real & they are incredibly dangerous.”

Early Sunday morning thousands of angry rioters tore down the fence and forced their way into a federal courthouse where federal agents were being stationed. Later that night police fired teargas in an attempt to restore order but protesters fought back with fireworks. At least 26 arrests were made.

So there was violence and destruction caused by a very large mob, if that is not the prime example of a riot then I don’t know what is. Watch the video and judge for yourself.
