A 35-year-old virgin from New Jersey said she was lookin’ for love, so she turned to a dating show hoping to find her soul mate and lose her “status.”
Sonali Chandra decided to look for Mr. Right by appearing on Lifetime’s “5 Guys A Week” where she lived with and dated 5 different men…. eliminating them as the days went by.
Chandra says she grew up in a very strict Indian household where her father did not allow her to date which. she said, is part of the reason she made it to her mid-30s and never went all the way.
Things got steamy between Sonali and her possible match Erik during her week on the show … a little too hot, apparently. An awkward video clip shows Erik explaining to Chandra just how physiological responses work.
Sonali ultimately chose Erik to be her mate, but things fell apart once the cameras were gone and she says they’ve split up.
The question remains…..Did Chandra change her status? The Jersey Girl ain’t saying.
